It was a rarity that I thought he was being serious, yet before I could even be moved by it, I was a little speechless.

Marius smiled triumphantly, however, and said, “It's okay. I can guess it even if you don’t say it. Actually, just now..."

Life and work had actually been a bit heavy and depressing these few day. If it were not for Marius' company and comfort, things might not have been as bearable.
