The next day.

I brought Shannon to Grant Corporation.

My feelings were vastly different coming here this time.

Everyone who passed by me smiled and greeted me politely only because I was the former Madam Grant.

In the elevator, Shannon took one step closer to me. "Isn't it a bad idea for the both of us to appear here?"

I did not expect Shannon, who had always been the most confident, to speak to me with such a tone of guilt.

I turned to look at her with a smile on my lips. "Aren't you worth ten whole persons? How could Delia go up against you?"

Shannon seemed to regain her confidence after I said that and raised her head. "That's right. How could Delia, that rambunctious hoof, be an opponent of ours? Let's go."

The elevator door opened, and Shannon and I walked out side by side.

We arrived at the largest conference room in Grant Corporation. The board meeting today was being held here.

"Are you ready, President Collins?" I smiled and looked at Shannon who was beside me.

She raised two pretty eyebrows at me slightly, looking confident. "Of course."

I reached my hand out and pushed open the door of the conference room.

The moment the door opened, all eyes were on us.

Delia had obviously been talking. Everyone's attention turned to us when I opened the door, including hers. Her wide-open mouth said everything.

She frowned, slapped the table, and stood up. “Wanda, it’s you again!

"You meddled the last time. What do you want this time?"

Seeing her alarmed expression, I smirked. "Of course, it's the same this time. I'm here to meddle in your affairs again.”

Cindy was present today and was surprised to see me.

I nodded and faced her with a full-on smile. “Of course, I do. Not only do I know about your meetings, I know about all your affairs.”

"W-What do you mean?" Delia frowned, looking very obviously nervous.

She looked anxious like she was afraid that I would reveal everything about her.

I could also show her deference by obliging her.

"Fellow directors, since everyone disagrees with Miss Owen joining the board of directors, we can probably end the meeting today here. Please move next door for some tea and wait a while. We’ll have something to announce later. Please leave me and Miss Owens to deal with our personal matters properly now."

The directors were usually an unreasonable lot, but they probably did not want to get involved with us knowing our entanglements. Thus, they left the conference room one after another under Keith’s guidance.

Cindy was unwilling to leave but could only do so.

Only a few of us were left after everyone left.

Delia looked at me with piercing eyes. "Wanda, what exactly are you trying to do?”
