After that came a long week of work.
In all honesty, I never thought one year could feel so long. It was probably due to how troublesome work was every day.
I was talking to Theo about the project procedure in the office when I heard a knock on the door.
"Come in."
Keith entered slowly. He looked at me, signaling me mildly before fixing his eyes on Theo. "President Grant, Mr. Nibel is here."
His timing was immaculate.
"Invite him in."
He must have come to ask me how the face cream was after using it. My ears registered Nibel’s voice a little while later. "President Grant, President Lane, you’re all here.”
We ceased our discussion and looked toward the arriving person simultaneously.
I continued before Nibel could say anything else, "Mr. Nibel, you’re just in time. This is my report from using the Golden-O Face Cream."
I handed him the document on the table which had been for Theo’s eyes previously.
Nibel accepted it with a smile. He then took a seat and read through it. "Your records are detailed, President Lane.”
"I haven’t used it for long, but it doesn’t look like there are any obvious changes to the skin. Even so, I still noted the changes no matter how small they were. Generally speaking, it’s not bad. My skin will definitely improve as long as I continue to use it,” I explained while Nibel went through the records.
It seemed that he really did care about this project. My previous concerns about him looked to be unfounded.
While waiting for Nibel's answer, I glanced at Theo. "Golden-O was developed by the EUR team. I have confidence in the team and the product. I’ll bet on it,” he said.
The moment he said that, Nibel's eyes were on him. Smiling lightly, he said, "If that’s your answer, President Grant, it’ll look like I’m a coward if I were to object. Alright. I’m in. But before that, the promotion efforts can’t be allowed to lag behind.”
"Of course. I’ll first arrange for smaller samples of Golden-O to be attached to the rest of Grant Corporation’s other products and have the consumers fill out their information for a follow-up. Next, I’ll arrange for people to promote it locally and take a look at everyone's feedback first," I said. Everything had been planned. We were just waiting for Nibel to give the word.
Nibel's eyes were shining brightly, seemingly agreeing with my plan. "Since you’ve made the arrangements, President Lane, I’ll also get my people to work with you on publicity and promotion. I’m looking forward to it."
"Me too." I smiled brightly.
