Theo and Keith went outstation for business trips and had entrusted some matters to me before they left. Thus, I spent a few days at Grant Corporation.

Theo called me during lunch, and when I heard his familiar voice, a great deal of my exhaustion disappeared.

"Have you eaten?"

"About to. How about you?"

"I'm eating now. You wouldn't have eaten if I hadn’t called you." Theo knew me too well and knew I would forget to eat when I was busy.

I smiled softly. "Okay, I'll go eat after this call.”

"I’ll be coming back the day after tomorrow. You’ve worked hard, President Lane.”

"You’re too kind, President Grant.”

After ending the call, I took the elevator down and just so happened to bump into Neil downstairs. "Neil? Why are you here?”

Neil seemed hesitant, but his thoughts were written all over his face.

"I can help you if you want." I looked at him sincerely.

Neil was first pleased when he heard this, but then his smile froze at the corners of his mouth. “You shouldn’t. It won’t be good if I end up hurting your relationship with Theo.”

"It won’t. We’ll take it slow. I’m confident about this.”

"Really?" Neil asked me tentatively, looking incredulous. "This isn’t an easy thing for him to accept after all.”

"It's difficult, but you're so outstanding. Give him some time. I think he’ll slowly come to accept you.” Neil seemed touched by my firm and serious gaze.

He nodded heavily. "Alright. I look forward to it then.”

I could see a hint of starlight finally revealing itself in Neil's once-dim eyes.

"By the way, you mentioned just now that Golden-O’s sales have decreased. This is normal, we..." Then, I started talking with Neil about business...
