I nodded. "Yes, I want to know his secret."

Theo finally obliged when he noticed my determined expression. "Then, I'll accompany you."

"Good."

With Theo’s company, we both went to Gareth’s home.

This time, it was not the housekeeper who came out to open the door but the beautiful woman I had met at the entrance the other day.

The woman was stunned at first when she saw me but then smiled. "We meet again."

“Yes. I figured President Zeke is already back." I looked inside.

As if seeing surety in my expression, the woman confessed, "He just came back. Please come in."

Theo and I glanced at each other before following the woman into the house.

The moment we stepped through the door, we heard a deep voice, “Rosa, who is it?”

Her name was Rosa.

Theo whispered in my ear. "Rosa Santos. She’s been Gareth’s assistant for more than ten years. Everyone in the industry knows that the person she loves is Gareth, but Gareth has never accepted her.”

If Gareth was really that ruthless, why did he let Rosa into his home, then?

Rosa looked back at us before answering with a smile, “It's President Grant and Mrs. Grant.”

I had no doubts that she knew us. It was only natural since Theo was a leading figure in the industry.

When Gareth saw that it was me, his expression obviously changed. It looked more complicated than it had been before.

"Why are you here again?"

"You should be glad she came," Theo answered before I could even speak.

He had been so agitated that he crossed an arm over his chest. He probably had a poor heart.

Seeing this, Rosa quickly stepped forward to help him take a seat. "Mrs. Grant, please leave."

I was worried about his physical condition and so I tugged Theo. "Don't say that. His body won’t be able to handle it.”

Gareth gradually regained his composure and looked at us expressionlessly. "If you want to know what happened to the Yards back then from me, then I have no comment. Go back.”

Theo wanted to speak, but I stopped him. "Let me.”

I turned and fixed my gaze on Gareth's body. As I looked at his face that had the clear influence of the vicissitudes of life, I slowly spoke, "We’re well aware of what happened back then. I’ve seen all of Millicent’s videos, so I don't need to ask you about that again."

Gareth's gaze changed when he heard that. Shock and a bit of doubt coloring his voice, he asked, "You... Who are you?”

“MIllicent had a daughter. Have you forgotten?" I choked out.
