Shannon lit up her phone screen and showed it to us. Marius and I looked. "Silas died?!"

This was too sudden!

For a moment, I was stunned, as were Marius and Shannon.

Reading the news report, it was said that Silas suffered a heart attack at home and died as help did not arrive in time.

I knew Silas had not been in good health, but how could this happen so suddenly?

I turned around and saw Marius walking toward me slowly.

"Why are you saying all that again?”

Marius lowered his head and laughed lightly. "Alright, I’ll stop joking around. I really hope you can be happy every day and not be bothered by things."

"Yes. I think I will."

"Get in the car. Go home and get some good rest." Marius' eyes fell on my car.

I opened the car door and sat in. Marius closed the door for me. He then leaned against the window and looked at me. "This is what you promised me, yeah?"

With that, he grinned that perfect smile and walked toward the elevator.

"Marius..." I whispered his name.
