Mila remained motionless. She closed her eyes and forced herself to sleep. But the more she tried to sleep, the more awake she felt.

Walking downstairs, Mila saw Fenna, Duke, and Layla chatting in the living room.

Duke greeted Mila with a warm smile, "Chubs, good morning!"

Fenna and Layla's expressions became gloomy as they looked at Mila.
