Lottie POV

Havoc's possessive actions only intensified the atmosphere, charging the air with pent-up rage and ridiculous testosterone. The bar's patrons recoiled, some with fear glinting in their eyes, others with a spark of excitement at the imminent violence. While many didn't seem to notice as they too had lunged into a harrowing fight. Tables were pushed back, and glasses clinked and spilt as everyone braced for the impending storm. Suddenly, Adam's wolf burst through the crowd. His eyes were venomous, his body rippling with pent-up aggression as he charged at Havoc.

The collision of the two wolves was a spectacle of raw, brutal power. Adam's wolf was fearless, launching himself at Havoc with a ferocity that was both awe-inspiring and terrifying. He swiped viciously, his claws searching for any weak spot, his teeth bared in a snarl of pure rage. Havoc, equally formidable, parried each attack with skilled manoeuvres, countering with powerful strikes that were calculated and brutal.

"Sage, how can they be so brutal and yet so... precise?" I uttered, stunned by the sheer intensity of the fight before me.

"They are both alpha's in their own right, char. And they are fighting for the same reason; neither are going to back down." She explained and warned. Her words had my heart tightening like it was being crushed in a vice.

"What are they fighting for? The right to induce chaos?" I snarled as I sidestepped a glass that came hurtling across the floor at speed.

"No, protecting you." she expressed, her tone ripe with irritation as we looked on at the fight. It was obvious Havoc's strength and power were almost unmatchable, but Adam's bravery and ferocity were undoubtedly surprising, even to me.

"Lottie." Liam gasped as another piece of furniture hurtled towards us, missing us by an inch. Now, he was stuttering; his eyes darted nervously as he tried to keep me out of harm's way.

"Lottie, we need to... stay back," he managed to say, his voice strained under the tension of the moment. I should have moved, but my feet were rooted to the spot, too absorbed in the scene as dread licked at my spine.

"Chase, do something."I heard Liam scream as the fight escalated, each wolf an embodiment of raw strength and untamed power. Havoc and Adam were perfectly matched, their wills clashing with ferocious intensity. The chaos they caused around them seemed to amplify with every blow exchanged, growls and snaps echoing through the bar like thunder.

At one point, Havoc managed to pin Adam beneath him, his jaws inches from Adam's throat. My heart stopped, panic seizing me as I envisioned the worst. I tore myself from Chase's grip, my feet carrying me forward before I even fully registered my actions.

"Havoc, stop!" I screamed, my voice piercing through the growls and snarls. Miraculously, he paused, his eyes—wild and red—locking onto mine. "Don't hurt him," I pleaded, my voice breaking with the weight of my fear.

Caught in this storm of conflict, my feelings swayed like a ship in rough seas. I didn't want to lose either. Each thud, each growl, each moment of contact between them sent a spike of fear through my heart. The possibility of losing either was unbearable yet unavoidable in the chaos that enveloped us all.

"We need to leave." Liam snapped as he turned to look at Chase, who seemed frozen with astonishment and dread as he watched his brother and his once-friend fight. A fight I just hoped wasn't to the death.

The sound of pain bounced off the walls of the club, pulling my attention back to the fight just in time to see blood drip from Havoc's jaw. With a loud thud, Havoc was hurtled backwards, sliding to a halt some feet away; his eyes shifted to me, filled with rage, while he wore a nasty sneer on his face. His eyes lowered back to the somewhat still figure on the floor, the figure of my brother.

Anger like no other exploded through my body, realising whose blood Havoc proudly wore. Fuck Liam's words and warning. If no one stepped in, people were going to die. MY people.

Without a backwards glance, I slid out from Chase's grasp and under Liam's arms, rushing as quickly as my swollen ankles and fat belly would take me. Determined to step in front of a charging Havoc and save fucking dick's from their own stupidity. With my hand outstretched behind me, I threw myself carefully down on top of my brother's bloodied body.

"NO MORE." I screamed, hopefully, just in time to get Havoc to stop and prove Liam wrong.
