Chapter 263 - 256. Say It Again (M) novel There's No Love In the Deathzone (BL)
"Were you...jealous?"
Zein paused, turning around with slightly widened eyes, looking stunned and in a daze. It wasn’t what Bassena expected. He had thought Zein would either look embarrassed or straight up denied it.
But the guide, leaning his hips against the kitchen island, was touching his abdomen. The blue eyes blinked slowly, staring into the empty air to digest that word. He traveled his hand upward, and stopped above his chest, pondering.
Zein knew about jealousy, he could tell when people acted jealous. After all, Bassena was coded with that trait. But Zein, who didn’t care about people’s thoughts before, who always became the one who was chased and courted before, had no idea what it felt like.
Now that Bassena pointed it out, he recalled the feeling of something churning in his guts, like a bug somersaulting in his stomach. That feeling of caution wasn’t for an enemy, but...a rival--or what he thought to be one. This was why, when he saw the way Bassena got offended on his behalf and told the Saintess off, he felt a sense of relief, and the uncomfortable feeling in his stomach was gone.
"Huh..." he muttered, stroking his lips in realization. "So this is...jealousy?"
Bassena was stunned, watching the guide’s dazed expression with increasing heartbeat. He realized then that Zein had never felt jealous before, and it snapped something inside him.
"Ah, seriously--"
Bassena took a long stride and reached Zein in a mere second, grabbing the guide’s waist and nape before pressing his lips in a hard, ardent kiss. Zein blinked at the sudden intensity, because Bassena had been more or less gentle before, as if scared of crossing the line. Even in the heat of the moment, Bassena let Zein take the rein, controlling the intensity of their sensual activity.
But this kiss reminded Zein of the darkness of the underground ruin; filled with raw emotions that had been strained and suppressed for long. The thought that Bassena still held back this much even after Zein answered his feelings put the guide in a daze. His lips, parted in surprise, accepted the unleashed ardor in kind.
Because the moment Bassena touched his skin, Zein felt all of his frustration released. The days of yearning for his esper’s touch and kiss flooded his senses. He was too distraught and emotional earlier, but now that they were home, his whole being screamed a yearning for Bassena.
Zein grasped the esper’s neck, clutching the broad shoulder and pulled Bassena even closer, deepening their kiss. Leaning against the kitchen island for support, he let Bassena ravage his mouth, consuming his lips and sucking his tongue. The esper’s lips, skillful tongue, and sturdy hands were hot, delightfully scalding, swiftly sending shivers along his spine.
When Zein shuddered in climbing arousal, Bassena ended their kiss, pulling away slightly to stare at the guide, hard. The amber eyes were blazing, scorching, and he stroked the fair cheek with a slightly trembling hand.
"I’m going to do whatever I want tonight," the low, husky voice entered the guide’s senses along with the smoldering fire of ambers. There was a growl beneath that statement; it was an announcement, not asking for permission. freēwebnovel.com
Zein felt his heart stop for a bit as his lower body jolted in arousal. "...okay," he replied breathlessly, skin hot and itching for more touch, more Bassena. "Okay--"
Drowning in another heated kiss, Zein felt his body get lifted, right into the marble counter. It didn’t stop them from slotting their lips together, nibbling each other’s. Zein ran his hands over the sturdy chest, impatiently unbuttoning the black shirt while suppressing an urge to just rip it off. Similarly impatient hands were getting rid of his belt, and the moment Zein managed to pull out the esper’s hot, throbbing erection, his legs were already bare.
And then the world turned.
One second, Zein was panting, lying on the cold marble, staring at the beautiful kitchen lamp. He merely had a short time to swallow much-needed air before he felt like his lungs stopped functioning in the next second. His vision was filled with beautiful ambers, sparks dancing beneath frowned brows. Raw desires bared to him through a clenched jaw and soft, growling sound behind heavy breath.
Zein didn’t even think about the fingers moving below, widening the way for the hardness he could feel against his thigh. No--his mind was filled with the fire inside those eyes, the glistening black scales he would very much like to kiss. And he did. Zein raised his upper body and propped himself on his elbow, grasping the platinum hair and pressing his lips on those cold, metallic protrusions.
Bassena let out a suppressed growl, yanked the black choker off the guide’s neck and bit into the fair skin. Zein did not bother to hold back any moans, sighing into the tense temple as he trailed kisses along the handsome profile, before whispering against the reddened ears; "Hurry,"
In a swift motion, the fingers were gone and Bassena pulled back, leaving Zein lying there feeling empty, heat pooling by the rustling sounds of foil packet. And then he felt hands on his hips, gripping hard, almost bruising.
"Ugh--" Zein gasped when his body lurched slightly, being pulled into a hard, hot intrusion all at once.
The gasp was quickly followed by moan--moans--and whimpers. He was being filled and pounded roughly, wildly; he was getting pulled as Bassena thrust, and the impact got him shuddering, convulsing. Bassena didn’t even seem like he was moving in Zein’s consideration, as if he was just chasing for his own pleasure. And yet, Zein felt all his nerves blazed with pleasant tingling, every sensitive spot got pounded into lancing sensations shooting straight into his brain.
The words brought Zein back from his trance, the flickering eyes focused on the firm gaze and tensing face. Blinking once, Zein grasped the esper’s cheek. "...I hate it," he said, quietly at first, but turned firmer as he added. "I hate the thought of you going to another guide," he ran his thumb to the parted lips that were letting out hot breaths. "I hate the thought of you meeting someone who has a clear interest in you alone without--ngh--telling me,"
