"So you see it too?" Radia arched his brow.

"Yep, that’s my reaction too," Bassena snapped his fingers, grinning.

"Mine too," Han Shin nodded.

They were no longer in the underground chamber--which Han Shin refused to enter again--nor the command tents, where Ashur and Kei were working their respective assignment. The biggest--and best--tent was the one that belonged to Bassena and Zein, so they ended up gathering there.

"It’s the first time that ever happened," Zein remarked briefly, before letting Bassena continue explaining how the vision went. The esper had heard everything from him earlier, so retelling was easy.

Zein had spent too much energy these past few days, with barely any sleep, and only sustained by energy bars. He was so tired that he had to force himself to eat the food that Radia’s secretary prepared for all of them, before plopping back on the couch and letting Bassena do the deliberation.

"Ugh..." Han Shin pressed his lips tightly at the end of it. "That’s..."

"A good motivation to finish this reclamation in triumph, is what it is," Radia chuckled as he stared at the blazing amber eyes. "Anger is a much better boost than fear, after all."

Bassena smiled deeply. It was just as Radia said; he still had a slight apprehension and well...fear, no matter how much he wanted to deny it. He knew the Fallen Star wouldn’t be as strong as it was before, but even a chip of mountain was still a huge boulder. Seeing a portion of the Celestial Wat during his thousand days of training made him wonder if any human could ever face such tremendous power that could split outer space and alter dimensional connection.

But after the vision, Bassena was reminded of the anger and disdain he had for Setnath before. It rekindled the conviction he had at the start, and the promise he made to Zein.

That he would end this accursed Deathzone for once and for all.

"Good," Radia smiled in satisfaction. "I’ve mobilized more people and provisions. They should arrive next week."

"You’re sending more people?" Bassena blinked in surprise. Not that he would object to it, but...

"What about the guild?" Han Shim voiced Bassena’s concern.

"What about it?" Radia chuckled. "I just need to recruit more people, no? I left enough to deal with our eternal dungeons, and more people are willing to join us after all of those great articles."

"Which you paid to make," Bassena smirked.

"What’s the point of living in Althrea if I can’t even control some media?" Radia shrugged. "It’s not like we’re lying."

Han Shin giggled mischievously. It seemed that he finally overcome all of the dread he had to endure for the past few days. Also, more provisions meant more sugar! Sweets! Snacks!

Looking at the healer’s brightened face, Radia chuckled and asked with a subtle smile. "You’re in the first batch to go back, aren’t you?"

"Uh-huh!"

"I’ll call the prison and let them know you’ll use your visitation pass," Radia said. "That way you won’t have to wait for the verification procedure."

Han Shin parted his lips, inhaling sharply at the thought of seeing his brother. He went to Radia and grabbed the summoner’s hands. "Brother-in-law!"

Radia rolled his eyes, but didn’t pull his hands away from the healer’s hold, who was rubbing them against his cheek. Bassena scoffed and shook his head; Han Shin had truly embraced the art of gaining two older brothers to spoil him.

"Who are you going to send here?" Bassena asked after Han Shin finished acting cute. Human resources was more important to him than provisions. "Rina? She’ll like it, going together with Ashur again."

"Not yet," Radia shook his head. "I still need someone to hold the fort while I’m away like this. Ah, but one of Zein’s kids will be here--who was it again? Arlo?"

"You’re sending a rookie?"

"I’m sending an eager boy to his family," Radia shrugged. "He was practically begging at Minho’s feet every day."

Zein lifted his head slightly. "Being with family...is good," he nodded, leaning his head against the platinum hair sitting in front of him.

Radia and Han Shin paused, watching the guide dazedly hug Bassena from behind, nuzzling the esper’s hair with closed eyes.

"What’s wrong with him?" Radia tilted his head in amusement. He was used to Bassena being all over Zein, but not the other way.

"He’s exhausted," Bassena patted the arms embracing him weakly. "Destroying the fragments and looking at its vision is taxing for the mind."
