Chapter 659: Side Story 2. Dance of Flame and Shadow - 18 novel There's No Love In the Deathzone (BL)
The first one was short and clumsy, filled with caution and worry. Both of them could feel the scout’s slightly trembling lips as they touched, and he immediately pulled back; just slightly, hovering above the berserker’s startled lips, just enough to look into those dark eyes.
Heart drumming, with a cold nape, Ron waited for any reaction. He was waiting for rejection, to be honest. To be pushed back or pulled away, to be scolded and told to never do that again. His stomach felt tight, and his neck felt icy--but the hand on his waist did not move away.
In fact, it tightened slightly.
That was all the confirmation both of them needed.
Ron dove in for another kiss; less clumsy this time, firmer, more certain. His confidence soared when he felt the older man took on his lips, reciprocating the kiss, and tightened the grip on his waist.
Did it work? Did his efforts work? Ron slipped his arms around the broad shoulder and thick neck, feeling the warmth of the older man spread into his skin as he moved his other leg across the berserker’s lap.
Agni, who unconsciously had pulled Ron’s legs to straddle him better, was having a great battle inside his mind. It was a bit too late since his body, which had been without stimulation for a long time, reacted instinctually. Those lips were soft, warm, wet; it almost tasted as sweet as honey, even though he had already forgotten what honey tasted like. The slight tremble from those lips and the fingers on his cheek traveled to his heart, tickling the hidden desire deep within, the one he tried so hard to bury.
Yeah, it was a bit too late to pretend he did not enjoy it.
But...if he wanted to, he could still yank the kid away from him. He could still end this quickly before it went further, before it passed the point of no return. ƒrēewebnoѵёl.cσm
But the question was; did he want to?
Give yourself a chance.
What an annoying woman. Agni grabbed the younger’s waist and held the back of the brown head, pulling the scout into a deeper kiss. This time, he was the one who controlled the kiss, holding Ron’s head and tilting his head to go deeper, slipping his tongue inside.
Ah...Ron felt like the fireworks were exploding in his heart instead of in the sky.
The craving for someone’s touch was apparent in their movement, and while Ron knew it was probably nothing more than a physical reaction for Agni, he didn’t care. At that moment, he just savored the fireworks exploding inside and out, grasping the older man as he was kissed within an inch of his life.
Agni was more thirsty than he thought. Despite having a low sexual drive recently--or perhaps because of it--that single, cautious kiss called forth what had been restricted all this time. Ron had initiated the kiss, but gradually, he became drowned in the older man’s aggressive reciprocation, letting himself be manhandled by the large and rough hands.
"Haa..." Agni breathed fire into Ron’s mouth, spreading shivers all over the younger’s skin. The kind of shivers that got Ron moaned slightly into the pair of burning lips.
Something snapped inside the berserker, and before Ron knew it, cold was seeping into his back as he was lying on the ground. Agni’s warm hand held the back of his head, cushioning it from impact, and Ron held tighter into the berserker’s back. His hips, supported by Agni’s other hand, latched onto the berserker’s waist as his tensed legs hung in the air.
With his heart beating louder than the ongoing fireworks, Ron felt like he was flying. The kiss did not stop, if not going even deeper, and he started to desire more. Instinctively, he arched his back and twisted his hips, trying to press himself more onto the older man. He drank the restrained desire burning on the berserker’s lips, and he asked for more.
"Mmh--"
He moaned a bit too freely, and he regretted doing it so much when the Agni let out a small gasp and pulled away, breaking the kiss. Breaking everything.
In a few seconds of silence, the looked at each other; Ron was panting and confused, while Agni was having a mental turmoil. Ron watched as the berserker’s face crumbled at the realization of what he had just done, and he straightened his back so fast that Ron fell onto the ground.
"Ouch," the scout rubbed the back of his head--it wasn’t really hard, but it saved him from awkwardness. He looked at Agni’s blank face and pursed his lips. "Why?!"
The ’why’ was both for Agni’s abruptly ending the intimate moment he had been waiting all this time, as well as for himself letting out that moan. Why? Why?! He just had let things quietly proceed further.
He didn’t even mind doing it outside like this.
But that moment had passed now, and it was clear that Agni regretted it. He started to shift away, but Ron held the man in his place by hooking his legs behind the berserker’s waist.
He frowned and glared at the older man. It was one thing when he was getting shover away after their first kiss, but how dare this uncle made a regretful expression after devouring him like that in the end? It was this uncle that made him moan! Why did he regret it, anyway? Why?!
Ron was annoyed.
"Let me go--"
"Where are you going?" Ron frowned and managed to sit without unhooking his legs. "How can you just end it like that?!"
Agni was definitely flustered, but he managed to reply somehow. "Because it was the end," he ignored the fact that it ended so abruptly while their tongues were still intertwined. "Let’s just treat it as a New Year’s kiss and--"
Agni cursed inwardly. He was hoping Ron wouldn’t realize it, which was why he ended the kiss and pulled away immediately. But how could the scout, a scout, miss such a big protrusion? Of course he would see it, and of course he would confront it.
Yeah, explain to him why you can’t do this, Agni Khan--was what he told himself, but his lips could not form a word. Because, frankly, he didn’t have a good one. Not without lying, anyway.
