Chapter 716: Side Story 3. Stellar Blossom - 51

For the first time after waking up, Han Joon visited the Far East district.

It was weird to see the place he always learned to be bleak and gloomy was gone, replaced with lush greenery and neat urban development. Weirder still, the ones who made it possible were the people he knew. For that alone, Radia decided to go using a helicopter instead of a portal.

Han Joon had a nice time looking at the landscape from above, before playing with Nari from the dock. Looking at them like that, it almost felt like nothing bad happened since the summer of last year. Unfortunately, the twins were at a different lake house on the other side of the Federation for their grandparents’ death anniversary.

But then again, they weren’t there to play anyway.

"Ahem," Han Shin cleared his throat as he stood before his daughter’s drawing wall. "My lady and the gentlemen..."

In front of him were two adult men sitting on the floor, with his little princess jumping excitedly on her uncle’s lap. "Yaaaay!" the little girl squealed while her uncle used her hands to clap. Clap clap clap!

Radia sighed at the whiteboard behind the overly excited parents. "Do we need to go this far?"

"Silence! Speaking is only allowed during Q&A sessions," Reina wiggled her finger, and his daughter laughed in response.

Radia rolled his eyes. Their daughter was definitely their copy. He started to regret asking this couple for advice.

"Then, let’s start the Dating Seminar for couples who want to feel young again," Han Shin clapped his hand once, and Han Joon clapped with Nari’s hands again. "Now--you have to keep in mind that people in their early twenties are different than...well, you."

"I’m still twenty," Han Joon raised Nari’s hand.

"I know, hyung--but you’ll follow what Radia wants to do anyway, so he’s the important one."

"Fair enough," Han Joon nodded. "But what’s the difference?"

Reina shrugged as she replied simply. "People in their early twenties just want to play."

The adults who had never played in their twenties tilted their heads in confusion. Han Shin and Reina sighed at the same time. Wow...they had to start from the basics.

"People in their early twenties are either still in college or just start working. Except for the very ambitious ones, they are transitioning kids who want to do the ’adult thing’ they think about when they’re still minors," Reina started.

"On the other hand, career people like you treated going on a date as either a chore or a way to escape your job," Han Shin chimed in.

"...huh."

"That’s why you just go to a nice dinner or stay at home."

"Huh..."

Radia blinked at the unexpected precise jab. Han Joon wouldn’t know, but...that was exactly what they had been doing in their married life. They would drive around sometimes, but that stopped after Joon’s lost his color perception. They talked about vacation, but right away, Joon fell into a coma.

And then Han Shin added. "Also, your energy level is low."

"Hey!"

"Except for se--" the words got cut by a hard clasp over his mouth and his wife’s glare. Han Shin cleared his throat and corrected himself with a grin. "Except for the...bed exercise."

Han Joon muttered cheekily while covering his niece’s ears. "Doesn’t need to be in bed."

"Oppa!"

Reina glared at the grinning brothers, before shaking her head and resuming the ’seminar’. "Anyway, going on a date in your twenties is to play and have fun," she said while her husband wrote a big, bold FUN on the white drawing wall. "Making it romantic is fine, but the most important thing is having fun and playing around, finding meaningful places with your partner, and making memories."

"Hmm..."

"But we know your fun senses are already fried, so we’ll be providing you with several ideas," Reina snapped her fingers.

Han Shin nodded with a sneer. "You’re welcome."

Again, Radia rolled his eyes and groaned. Should have just looked for stuff in the link.

"The first one!" ignoring Radia’s lament, Reina raised Nari’s magical girl’s wand. "The fun of all fun! You can’t spell fun without amusement parks!"

"Oh..."

Han Shin pointed his marker at his brother. "Hyung likes that, so it’s a yes!"

Radia turned his head. "You do?"

"I’m curious," Han Joon shrugged. "Never gone there when I was a child."

"Right," Radia nodded and easily agreed. Shin went to such places a lot while dating Reina, but Radia and Joon never properly went on a date because they didn’t want to get found out by Han Gyeong. "Let’s go there then."

"Ayi chuu!"

The little princess had no idea what the adults were talking about, but she understood ’amusement park’ enough.

"Yes, yes--we’ll go once you’re big enough, okay?" Han Shin patted his daughter, but the little princess pouted.

"Ayi igg!"

"No, no--you need to be this big," Han Shin shook his head and put his hand in front of his waist. "You can’t go on a ride when you’re still tiny, girl."

"Hmph!"

The little princess pouted and sulked on Han Joon’s lap, so the uncle patted her head and slipped in the same words he used to say to her father. "Eat well so you can be tall quickly."

"Mm!"

And like her father, the words worked somehow. Han Joon chuckled and asked with a smile. "What else?"
