The wedding was lighthearted but also full of sincerity.

For once, Zhan did not make any speech that would be considered a jinx. It seemed like he planned his speech carefully and left the well-wishings to the guests--which enticed a hearty laugh from the audience. He did not forget to mention the large gift their Guildmaster sent to substitute his attendance.

Even Senia was laughing; she seemed to exhaust her tear ducts after crying in the bride’s room earlier. Rina gracefully provided her beautiful voice and the rest of the guests joined to sing the songs--except for Zein, who still had no interest in pop culture.

Kar shared the same indifference that his Dada had, but Asa was happily dancing with the uncles and aunties, getting around from table to table. One would think he was part of the family--especially because his father walked the bride down the aisle.

All in all, it was a fun event. Unfortunately, Zein and Bassena had to go in the middle of the banquet because they got the news that Reina had started her contractions.

They drove to the nearest Mortix headquarters and used the portal there to move to Althrea. This time, Reina was attempting a waterbirth, so they headed to her family’s condominium. Thankfully, the twins were sleeping already since it was late at night, so they didn’t have to see or hear the process.

And when the twins woke up the next day--surprise! A clean, bundled baby boy had arrived!

It was really hard for Zein and Bassena to hold the twins back from rushing toward the nursery. The boys kept fidgeting during breakfast, and when they finished gulping their water, they practically ran through the hallways.

"Whoa..."

The twins, who had dragged two stools to the bassinet, peeked at the baby from the ledge. Nari, unfortunately, wasn’t tall enough, so she had to employ his Papa’s help to hoist her up the railing.

"Blothel! Nayi’s blothel!" the little princess excitedly smacked the railing.

Thankfully, the newborn was calmly sleeping without feeling disturbed.

"So small..." Asa stared at the baby in amazement. "Smallel than Nali!"

"Nayi biggel?" the little girl’s black eyes sparkled. "Wow!"

Of course, the current Nari would be bigger than a baby, but Asa was referring to the time when Nari was also a baby. Amazingly, he remembered it very well and pointed out the fact correctly.

"Indeed, he’s pretty small," Bassena joined his sons to spectate the new addition. The baby weighed half a kilogram less than Nari; a small and delicate baby who looked like an angel. Maybe because he was still asleep and couldn’t throw toy blocks across the room. "But he is also really pretty."

"Pwitee! Like Nayi!" the little princess giggled proudly.

"Yes, like Nari," Bassena laughed and pinched the grinning cheek.

"...cute," Kar, who had been staring at the baby quietly, finally provided his commentary. Short and succinct as usual.

He had been trying to reach out to the baby from the ledge--and that was why he was quiet--but his arms were still too short to reach the small baby in the center. Looking at the boys’ enthusiasm, Han Shin chuckled and offered something the boy thought was mindblowing.

"Would you like to try holding him?"

The older twin almost gasped. "Kar can?"

"Oh, you can spell ’r’ now!" Han Shin laughed and handed over her daughter to Bassena, before picking up the newborn. "And of course, you can--he’s a bit small and light, so you’ll be able to hold him. Here, sit over there."

Kar perked up and quickly moved to the couch in the nursery, sitting obediently. The funny thing was that Asa immediately followed and sat beside his twin, while Nari asked her Uncle Bas to escort her to the couch.

The adults couldn’t help but laugh at the three children lining up expectantly. Kar even had his arms out, ready to receive the baby. With a chuckle, Han Shin placed the newborn over the boy’s arm, making sure to support the baby still.

"Be careful--that’s right, you support his head--good boy," he instructed the older twin carefully.

"Oh..."

Clumsily, Kar felt the baby’s weight on his arms. The baby looked like a doll, even smaller than their teddy bears from Uncle Dee. He was still too small when Nari came, so he couldn’t hold her at that time. For Kar, this was an incredible experience.

And then, perhaps because feeling a little bit uncomfortable, the baby moved his head and squirmed slightly. The children let out a collective gasp.

"Nayi chu! Nayi chuu!"

The little princess couldn’t wait to hold her little brother too. She needed to be supported fully by her Papa, but she was shrieking joyfully just from the illusion of holding the baby.

"It’s fortunate that Nari doesn’t get jealous," Zein chuckled. Even with twins, he had to be careful not to make one child feel left out or being treated unfairly.

He heard it was even worse for siblings. Especially for those with a short age gap. The first kid, who had been receiving all the attention, might be struggling to accept that the attention was shifting to someone else.

Nari, however, had been excited since her mommy’s belly grew bigger.

"Why would she? She had been asking for a sibling since she could speak," Reina laughed while lounging on another couch. The privilege of having a saint-class healer as a husband was the instant recovery after labor. "She was jealous of the twins since they had each other while she was alone in the house."

"This girl doesn’t know the glory of an only child," Radia smirked.

"Well, she probably got lonely when I was working while Shin was away in the Tower," Reina sighed. "Poor girl..."

Han Shin looked at his little girl with a soft gaze. "Aww, my princess! Appa will play lots more with you, okay?"
