Chapter 31

The next morning, just before the door was about to open, Bryce instinctively hid in the nearby bushes.

Through the lush bushes, he saw Antonio holding an umbrella, protecting Grace in his arms, not a drop of rain falling on her.

The smile on her face was indescribably sweet, as she nestled tightly in Antonio’s arms. The atmosphere between the two of them was

impenetrable by anyone.

A strong sense of inferiority engulfed his whole body, making him feel unworthy.

It was not until a long time after the two of them had left in the car that Bryce emerged from the bushes.

I didn’t know if the moisture at the corner of my eyes was tears or

rainwater.

The rain washed away the fallen leaves from his body as if he had never been there.

In the evening. Grace returned home and saw a box of jade bracelets at

the door.

There was a sticky note on top of the box, with lively and flamboyant writing:

Sorry, this is an apology. If I could do it again, I would take a picture of your parentsbelongings for you. I wish you happiness in the future, and I won’t bother you anymore.Bryce

Upon seeing this sentence, Grace remained silent for a long time but eventually accepted the box of jade bracelets.

Grace, I couldn’t let go, I couldn’t sincerely wish you well. Butif this can make you happy, I’m willing to do so.

He murmured, his words dissipating in the wind, only audible to himself.

Having loved her for so many years, how is it possible to let go with just a casual remark?

In the past, his love for her was true, but the wrongdoings he committed and the harm he caused her were also true.

He couldn’t make her forgive him, so he could only seek peace of mind in this humble way.

Finally, even Bryce himself didn’t know how he had left.

When he got back home, he packed his luggage and prepared everything. As he was about to step out of the house, he was stopped by Alden.

Bryce, where were you going?

Alden furrowed his brow and asked, puzzled.

Chapter 31

Bryce looked indifferent and said, I’m going to the club, planning to have closed training to prepare for the next game.

I no longer had the advantage of age in the competition, and to win in the next competition. I needed to strengthen my training.

Afterward, he carried his suitcase and walked out, never to turn back again.

Alden was stunned, feeling inexplicably that the whole house had become much quieter.

There was still something I didn’t have time to say to Bryce, and he got in the departing car..
