“Shut up! You’re nothing but a distraction. You’re not even in the same

league as Amy.” His voice dripped with contempt.“And the baby? I can have as

many children as I want.”

“Someone take her to the hospital. Terminate the pregnancy.”

Panic seized Bethany. She clutched her stomach. This was her only leverage,

her ticket to security. She couldn’t lose this baby!

She ran towards the crowd. They’ll help me! They promised to protect me!

Silas waved his hand, signaling the guards to stand down. He watched her,

his eyes cold and calculating, like a predator watching its prey.

Bethany’s hope quickly turned to despair. The crowd, once fueled by blind

rage, had come to their senses. Silas’s name and reputation preceded him.

Everyone knew Silas Sterling and Diamond Empire Group. His devotion to

Amelia was legendary, a frequent topic of conversation, even among strangers.
