Alec was quiet. Jenny knew that he was furious, but she said, "Well? What's it going to be?"

She had already made up her mind to see him even if he refused. No matter what, she just had to talk to him today.

"Fine. You win." Jenny was proved victorious. Alec needed the Walters' help.

They arranged for a place to meet, and he hung up. He turned and walked back into the restaurant.

He sat in his original place and began talking with the client as if nothing had ever happened. Blake snuck glances at him, but nothing unusual could be seen on his face. She secretly sighed in relief.

Alec would probably not fall in love with Jenny. He had lost his memories. When it came to familiarity, Blake was the one most familiar with him.

Not long after, the deal was finalized. They all walked out of the restaurant together.

Blake and Alec said goodbye to the client. "You're really amazing," Blake couldn't help praising Alec.

Although Alec's authority didn't compare to the other Fausts, he was actually the most capable out of all of them. This was the man who was worthy of Blake. He wasn't like the useless men who only relied on their status.

Alec thanked her. "It's late. You should head home."

"Alright." Blake nodded. She walked towards the parking lot but realized that Alec hadn't followed her. "What about you?" Her heart thumped in her chest. She had a bad feeling.

"I have some stuff to do. I won't be sending you home," he said. He didn't say what he had to do.

"This better be serious!" He expressed his displeasure right off the bat. He looked at Jenny as if she was an enemy.

Jenny smiled and ordered him a cup of coffee.

Outside the cafe, Blake's car stopped on the opposite street. She could see them clearly and tightened her grip on the steering wheel. "Bitch! We already agreed not to interfere with each other, but she's here bothering him! I won't let you win! Alec is mine!" Blake had spent too much energy and effort on him to lose him like this. On top of that, they had already made their relationship public.

She wouldn't lose.

She took out her phone and made a phone call. "Tell the dumb Glasses that it's the Walters and the Windsors who are messing with them. And make it known that it's all because of Jenny."
