Amelia and Kieran stared at each other in silence for a few seconds. Then, Amelia backed out of the room and shut the door without another word.

Lila returned around 10:00 pm.

Just as she exited the car, she heard a familiar voice cursing angrily. "You worthless bastard. How dare you covet what's mine? You must have a death wish!"

Lila took a step back and hid behind the car. But she could still see Andy, who stood with several bodyguards.

Before his target could even respond, Andy yelled, "Beat him! I'll take responsibility if he dies!"

Immediately, the sound of flesh meeting flesh filled the air, along with muffled groans of pain.

Lila frowned. It was Moses'.

She pulled out her phone and called the hotel front desk. Soon, several security guards arrived.

Andy sneered at them. "How dare you interfere in my business?"

The guards exchanged uneasy glances before their leader stepped forward cautiously. "Mr. Moore, please don't make this difficult for us. You are still on the hotel's grounds. You wouldn't want Mr. Morgan to hear about this, would you?"

Lila glanced up at the hotel's logo, finally realizing that this place was one of Morgan Group's properties.

She thought Andy might back off with the security guards warning him.

But instead, he let out a disdainful chuckle. "Are you threatening me?"

The lead guard broke out in a cold sweat. "No, I wouldn't dare threaten you, Mr. Moore."

"Good. Because while I can't afford to offend Kieran Morgan, I can teach you a lesson. If even a whisper of this reaches his ears, you're all dead." Andy sneered.

Lila felt a wave of disgust. Andy was a coward who only bullies the weak.
