Moses was sitting next to Dennis, but Andy was nowhere to be seen. Her gaze met Faith's across the room. The girls exchanged a small nod but didn't say a word.

Dennis barely spared Lila a glance before turning to Stefan. "Mr. Morgan Senior, since you're here today, let's lay everything out. When our family initially partnered with Morgan Group, we did so under the premise of a marriage alliance. The kids didn't want it, so we agreed to keep things strictly business.

"But now, Mr. Morgan has decided to get involved with our company. Do you think that's appropriate? Don't you think your family owes me an explanation?"

Dennis kept rambling, but Kieran didn't even look at him. Instead, he gestured for Lila to sit beside him.

Lila had been busy in the last two weeks leading up to the end of filming. The only time they had managed to have a meal together had been a rushed affair. She had rushed back overnight to surprise him, but now, thanks to this group of people, that surprise had been ruined. Kieran was clearly not pleased.

As soon as she sat down next to him, the familiar scent of jasmine reached him, easing his irritation just a little. Still, when he spoke, his tone was cold and restrained. "It was just a regular investment in Moore Group. What's there to explain? Moore Group has multiple shareholders—do they all need your permission before buying in?"

Dennis was fuming inside. How could he equate regular investors with Kieran, who had suddenly acquired 5% of their shares? That was a completely different matter.
