Chapter 1429
After hanging up the call with Sean, Molly went to rest on the bed.
It was a quiet night.
When Molly woke up the next day, the thought of being able to get in touch with Sean made Molly very happy. She went to find Lesley after breakfast as usual.
"I thought you won't be coming."
Lesley seemed to have breathed a sigh of relief when she saw Molly. A smile appeared on her delicate face.
"No way."
Molly smiled and then said, "Did I scare you yesterday? I'm sorry to leave so suddenly and didn't get to talk to you."
She looked at Lesley apologetically.
Lesley looked at Rhett, who was standing at the side. She frowned and seemed to want to say something but was worried about something else.
Molly spotted the look on Lesley's face and looked at Rhett, who was keeping an eye on her. Her eyes turned cold and she said, "Lesley, just say whatever you want to. You don't have to care about people who are irrelevant."
When Rhett heard the word "irrelevant", he frowned but didn't say anything.
After hearing those words, Lesley didn't hesitate any more and asked, "Yesterday... that guy..."
The man yesterday looked gentle and cultivated, but didn't give Lesley a good feeling.
He looked like he was concerned for Molly, but he was actually questioning her.
Thinking about what had happened the previous day, Lesley frowned.
Molly didn't keep anything a secret and said straightforwardly, "A guy who's hurt my husband and kept me imprisoned on this island so that he could get what he wanted."
"Imprisoned?" Lesley was shocked.
"Compared to you, what we've gone through is more troublesome."
"Really?" Molly was a little interested and asked, "Do you mind talking to me about it?"
"Well..."
A bitter look appeared on Lesley's face, but she quickly disguised it and said, "I'll tell you about it later. It's a long story..."
Molly noticed that Lesley didn't want to talk about it, so she didn't force Lesley to talk about it and changed the subject.
The two of them were so engaged that they had forgotten about the time and Rhett, who was by the side.
Only until the sky had turned dark did Molly leave unwillingly.
Before she left, Lesley said, "Molly, it's my day off tomorrow. How about I take you around? You haven't had the chance to take a good look around the island since you've arrived, have you?"
"That'll be great." Molly immediately agreed.
