Chapter 1560

Sean drove Molly to the research laboratory and then went straight home. This could avoid bumping into Kara.

He was worried that if he came too close to Kara, the blood streaks on his chest would spread again.

On the other side, as soon as Molly saw Mr. Ballard, she immediately told him about Sean's situation.

'Mr. Ballard, the blood streaks on Sean's chest are spreading again."

After saying that, Molly's face became very serious.

Mr. Ballard patted her shoulder to coax her. "When the Venomous Insect enters the heart, the process will speed up. The spreading of the blood streaks is normal. All we can do now is wait." He then said after a short pause, "We have to wait until Kara recovers so that she can withstand the treatment before we can do anything."

"I know, Mr. Ballard. It's just that..."

Molly bit her lip. Her brows were tightly knitted together.

She knew that Mr. Ballard had a point, but deep down, she still felt desperate.

Truthfully speaking, the longer that the Venomous Insect was inside Sean's body, the more she would feel worried.

Mr. Ballard understood what Molly was going through. However, if she kept on being so worried, he was afraid that it would delay the research progress.

Therefore, Mr. Ballard changed the subject. "By the way, Logan did some experiments on the Venomous Insect that we took out of Kara's body last time. Do you want to see the data?"

The change of subject was so fast that Molly didn't have time to react.

Seeing that she was in a daze, Mr. Ballard let out a helpless smile. "I've heard Logan say that you're interested in

Venomous Insects as well. That's why I mentioned this to you."

Molly knew why Mr. Ballard changed the subject, so she didn't refuse his kindness.

Logan was already used to this, but he still couldn't help but tease, "Edmund, are you sure you're a doctor? You should have seen a lot of bugs by now, right?"

"How... how can that thing be the same?" Edmund looked at the Venomous Insect, which was wriggling and frowned in disgust. "This is a Venomous Insect. It's disgusting as it is, alright?"

"If you're going to be such a pussy, then I'd advise you exit the medical industry."

Logan's words echoed in the research lab. Edmund was definitely not going to accept the suggestion and immediately retorted. "Are you wanting the medical industry to lose a good doctor like me?"

In order to prove himself, Edmund walked towards the Venomous Insect. He forced himself not to feel disgusted.

Molly chuckled at those words. She walked in and took a look. Logan was torturing the Venomous Insect.

Seeing that Molly walked over, Edmund asked in surprise," How come you have the time to come over? Shouldn't you be helping Mr. Ballard to make the antidote?"

"You guys have some research results, don't you? So I thought I’d bring Molly over to take a look," Mr. Ballard explained.

Edmund nodded and didn't say anything else.
