His voice was as gentle as always.

Molly was almost moved to tears. She shook her head and said with a smile, "It doesn't matter."

She had thought he would sleep for a long time, but he woke up instead.

This was unexpected.

But she was really happy.

Seeing she was about to cry, Sean felt so sorry. Yet, he asked with a faked unhappy face, "What? Are you unhappy to see me wake up?"

"No, I'm happy."

Molly sniffed hard, forcing her tears back, and changed the subject, "Do you feel anything wrong?"

As she spoke, she reached out her hand to his forehead.

"No.-

Sean held her hand and said with a broader smile," Everything is great, except that I feel a little weak."

Molly immediately took his pulse.

His pulse beating was indeed a little weak, but everything else was all right.

After heaving a sigh of relief inwardly, she grinned, "It's okay.

You'll recover after a careful recuperation."

"Got it." Sean pushed the hair falling at the side of her cheek to the back of her ear and stared at her gently, his eyes moving around her pretty face.

He saw dark circles under her eyes.

Apparently, she had not had a good sleep.

He felt a great pain in his heart.

"You must have had a hard time these days."

His voice was so low and so serious, showing he was terribly sorry for her.

Molly immediately shook her head. "No, I haven't. As long as you're all right, I haven't had a hard time."

Sean chuckled, his eyes full of doting affection.

"Idiot."

He pulled her into his arms, smelled the familiar fragrance, and revealed a satisfied smile.

And the three kids surrounded Sean.

"How're you feeling, daddy?"

"Does it hurt, daddy? Do you feel anything uncomfortable?"

"You should take good care of your health, daddy."

The three kids were like twittering birds, but Sean didn't think they were noisy at all. He kept smiling and answered their questions patiently.

"I'm feeling great. It doesn't hurt."

After hearing that, the kids cheered, "Hooray! Please keep getting better, Daddy! We will wait for you to take us out to play when you recover."

Sean nodded and said, "No problem."

Looking at this, Lesley was sincerely happy for Molly.

"Molly, all your sufferings finally paid off, after all," she turned her head and said to Molly, who was eating.

Molly looked up and smiled at her, "Yours paid, too!"

The two of them smiled.

The hard days were finally going to end.
