Chapter 178

“Uncle Sean doesn‘t even thank my mommy now. We‘re just like family!”

Claudia ran up to Sean and immediately held his hand as she pouted. “Isn‘t it, Uncle Sean?” she asked seriously.

Sean was amused as he held her hand to prevent her from falling.

He then nodded with a smile as he felt that Claudia would cry in the very next second if he did not do so.

Claudia instantly grinned brightly and pecked him on the cheek. “You‘re the best, Uncle Sean!” They looked like a happy family to Abigail, and she felt like she was the only one who was an outsider.

Her expression darkened. ‘Aren‘t they just a doctor and a patient? Why did they go to the hot springs together? Why are they getting closer to each other?!’ Abigail looked at Molly subconsciously as she wondered. Her expression was hostile, and her gaze was dark.

Molly noticed it with her sharp senses, so she looked back and stared back at Abigail

coldly.

Molly understood why Abigail was seeing her as a foe. ‘Seems like Miss Nolan has already treated me as her love rival, huh?‘

so she finally brought it to Sean. However, she suddenly lacked confidence when she saw how serious Sean looked as he

scanned the pages carefully. Tony served two hot teas on the table, one in front of each of them. He then left, not wanting to bother them any further. Sean had the project plan in one hand as he frowned. He looked at the cup of tea and took a sip of it after blowing on it gently. Abigail was feeling a little uneasy. When she saw Sean drinking tea, she quickly took a sip out of her cup of tea. However, she immediately pulled herself back when the hot tea touched her lips.

‘Why is mine so hot? Isn‘t Sean afraid of heat?‘

But she was afraid to disturb Sean, so she just put the cup of tea back on the table. “The plan is not precise enough, and several areas lack details. The materials needed for the special project aren‘t complete yet, so the upper management won‘t distribute them to you.” Sean placed the plan on the table after he was done speaking. He looked serious and slightly unhappy as well. “This project plan is not good enough. If this continues, don‘t bother wasting my time again,” Sean said harshly. “Sorry, Sean. I‘ll be more mindful next time and change for the better. Thank you for the advice,” Abigail apologized with utmost sincerity.
