Chapter 838

"We're here. That'll be one hundred."

The cab driver's attitude took a big turn as if Molly owed her money after he stopped the car.

Molly arched her brows and refuted unhappily, "It'd usually only cost me less than forty bucks. Did you really just ask for a hundred?"

The cab driver looked around and found out that it was a newly built neighborhood. There were not many people there, so he became bolder and shouted, "This is a metered cab! You have to pay the exact amount shown here. I'm not asking for any extra."

"I'm sure that you took the longer route, then."

Molly exposed him and straightforwardly said, "I don't care which route you prefer to take, but I'm only going to pay you what I'm supposed to! Here's fifty. Consider the extra as my tips.”

Then, Molly took out a green-colored bill and gave it to him.

Unexpectedly, the cab driver grabbed her hand suddenly and molested her hand.

'Her hand is so soft. I can't remember the last time I touched a woman.’ The sensation stimulated a part of his body, and his gaze toward Molly turned ferocious.

"Ah! Let go of me!"

Molly screamed. She was not expecting him to be a pervert.

The cab driver put on a crooked smile. "Miss, shout all you want. There's nobody around here. No one is going to help you no matter how loud you scream!"

He tried to open the car door while grabbing Molly's hand tightly.

Molly was terrified. She took her handbag and used to it smack the driver's head. The driver was dazed, and he scolded Molly with every curse word he could possibly come up with.

Boss, this is bad! Ms. May is in trouble!"

Tony got to the neighborhood and felt very anxious after he saw what was happening.

Fury roared through Sean's mind as he sat in the backseat. "Where are the bodyguards? Do something!" he said impatiently.

"Yes, boss!"

Tony contacted the other car via intercom. A few muscular men ran straight out of the car and threw the perverted cab driver on the ground after receiving Tony's order.

"Ouch!"

The cab driver sprawled out on the asphalt, and the bodyguards stepped on his chest before he could even stand up. It hurt so much that he shouted, "H-Help! I didn't do anything to you. What's going on?"

The bodyguards picked him up from the ground without saying anything and threw a big punch to his face. One of his teeth was knocked out, and he spat out blood.

Molly was shocked as she took a few steps back.

After seeing the big burly men beating the cab driver up, she could almost guess that Sean sent them.

As expected, the bodyguard turned around and said to Molly after taking care of the cab driver, "We're sorry for being late, Ms. May."

Molly was relieved as she softly asked, "Did Sean send you?"

"Yes, Ms. May. It was an order from the CEO to Mr. Tony. He wanted US to stay around you and keep you safe at all times."

The bodyguard dressed in black spoke politely before he continued, "Also, we'll be responsible for taking you to and back from work from today onwards. If you're not okay with this arrangement, we'll just escort you to your destination to keep you safe."

Molly's heart was suddenly filled with warmth.

She was still mad at Sean, but he still cared so much about her personal safety.

She would be in big trouble if the bodyguards were not around!

It was just difficult for her not to change her mind after knowing how considerate and thoughtful Sean was to her.

However, the more she felt this way, the more contradicted she got!
