Nine-thirty in the morning.

Two people came out of the Civil Affairs Department.

With their marriage certificate in Yvonne's hand, they walked out extremely happy.

She stood under the sun, looking at their certificates as if she wasn't sure whether this was a dream or reality.

She gawked at their marriage certificate. She was so cute that Zachary couldn't help but laugh as he stood beside her.

"It's real. We're married." As if he had guessed what she was thinking, he answered her thoughts.

Yvonne looked at the tall man beside her in a blur. His gaze went deep into her heart against the sunlight. He was just like the sunlight shining on the most hidden corner of her heart, making all her worries disappear.

She took a deep breath, revealing a pair of dimples and her cherry red lips.

"I know it's real. I'm sure it's real. So this is what a marriage certificate looks like. It's nice." Yvonne looked like an innocent child with her eyes curved into a smile as she looked at Zachary.

It was rare for Zachary to see her in such high spirits; his eyes were filled with warmth. "Keep both of them with you."

As soon as he got his copy of the marriage certificate, he gave it to her and said to keep the both of them with her.

Yvonne looked at the photo the both of them took together. Zachary leaned slightly against her head, and she leaned slightly against Zachary.

The both of them smiled happily in the photo. It was a bright smile that they rarely saw on each other's faces.

She then looked at the stamp of the Civil Affairs Department; it was proof that they were legally married.

Only then did Yvonne carefully place their marriage certificate into her leather bag.

Zachary extended his arm.

Yvonne paused. She immediately understood that he wanted her to hold his arm. She happily obliged, and the two of them walked to the car park, got into the car, and went straight to the airport.

"We're not going to drive there?" Yvonne was a little surprised.

"No, Southland is our hometown anyway, and we have a car over there," Zachary replied. "I moved most of my business to Northern City. The business in Southland is my family's. I'm only managing it because my father and grandfather had entrusted it to me."

Yvonne knew that Zachary had established the company in Northern City himself. It was a different business from the Lowe family.

He was indeed the future of the Lowe family; he was the only highly capable one in the entire family.

Once again, Yvonne deeply understood Zachary's father. Even though his request back then had been cruel, it had also resulted in Zachary's accomplishments.

Yvonne loved this man deeply, but she also knew Zachary well. If he had been deeply trapped in love, he would not be able to go far. So as she grew older, she understood even more why Zachary's father had made that request. Their breakup that year had shaped them into who they were now.

If the two of them had stayed together, gotten married, and had children earlier, perhaps they wouldn't be who they were now.

They would probably have already lost themselves

in blind love.

Now, at least they had matured a lot.

The plane took off and landed in Southland within an hour.

After getting off the plane, the Lowe family chauffeur came to pick them up. Yvonne sat in the car and heard Zachary ask the chauffeur, "Have you bought all the gifts that I asked for?"

"Yes, Young Master. Everything is ready according to your instructions," the chauffeur replied.

Yvonne could see that this person wasn't just a simple chauffeur.

Zachary nodded. "Okay, bring the gifts. We're going to the Attwood family."

"We're going now?" Yvonne asked in shock.

Zachary nodded in response.

The Chauffeur then asked, "Young Master, which house would that be?"

"Oh, the one on 1 Lively Lane." Yvonne quickly gave him her home address.

The chauffeur glanced at her from the rearview mirror.

Zachary caught sight of this. He glanced at the chauffeur and introduced her, "This is my wife, the mistress of the Lowe family."

"Ah, hello, Mrs. Lowe," the chauffeur hurriedly greeted her.

Another chauffeur stood by the car with the chauffeur who had picked them up just now, waiting for instructions.

Zachary tidied up his suit slightly and held Yvonne's hand.

Yvonne turned around to look at him.

"Don't be afraid," he reassured her. "Leave everything to me."

Yvonne's feelings was a mess, and the emotions in her eyes were complicated.

Zachary then said to the chauffeurs, "Knock on the door and send in all the gifts."

"Yes, sir."

Soon, there was a knock on the door.

The chauffeurs then entered, carrying the gifts.

Yvonne and Zachary stood below the old-fashioned resident. The railings of the stairs were rusted, making the house look like something from an ancient era.

This was where Elaine lived. Her father lived in a different house with his family and wasn't very wealthy.

"Who is it?" An old lady's voice came from behind the door.

Yvonne's body stiffened in an instant.

It was her grandmother's voice.

Zachary grasped Yvonne's hand tightly.

"Hello Madam Elaine, we are from the Lowe family. Our Young Master and Young Madam would like to see you."

"Who is your Young Master?" Madam Elaine asked in surprise. She stood by the door. It was an old lady with a head full of white hair. She tilted her head and looked outside.

At first glance, she saw Yvonne, and then she saw Zachary, who was holding Yvonne's hand.

The old woman's expression changed, and her eyes were filled with understanding. She squinted at her granddaughter and remarked coldly, "No wonder you looked down on Wesley. It turns out that you fancy a brat."
