"Mommy, you're biased," Latem cried and accused his mother of allowing his father, who was her favorite family member, to win every time.

He felt that there was a reason why he was born late along with Snowie. This was because their mommy favored dad over the both of them.

Fortunately, they were on good terms with one another.

One benefit of giving birth late would certainly be the improved relationship between a couple, considering how they had already gone through the run-in period and generally understood each other better.

As soon as they arrived at Grace's house, Latem led Snowie to look for Sebastian and Sylvia so that his mommy could have some time alone with Aunt Grace.

"Why did you still bring them here when it's already so late?" Grace asked, "Even if we were to have a banquet, we still have to wait until the next day."

"I can't wait anymore," Alice said, "I can't wait to discuss it with you. Let's have a big gathering. We haven't had such a gathering in a long time already. Since Heinz's maternal grandfather is still around, I'm sure he would like it as well."

"He's quite old though, will he be able to make it?"

Although Old Master Carter's body was still pretty strong, he was a man in his nineties, so he might not be able to attend a banquet for very long.

"You can always ask him," Alice said, "Maybe he can make it?"

"You'll have to talk to Heinz about this," Grace said.

"Where is he?"

"He's talking to Gary upstairs," Grace pointed upstairs.

"Come on, let's go up then," Alice grabbed her hand and walked upstairs with her.

Grace followed her upstairs. Both of them were over 30 years old now; in fact, Grace was approaching her forties. Hence, looking at how swiftly Alice was moving, Grace couldn't help but think of how much more vigorous and resolute she had became.

She immediately went to look for Heinz as soon as the thought popped up.

They arrived at the third floor and were about to knock on the door, but stopped when they heard

Gary's voice from outside.

"Didn't you say that you were going to let me go explore the world on my own? Why do you still want to talk to me?"

"You brat, is it wrong for me to care about you?" Heinz rebutted, "Can't we at least talk?"

"There's nothing for us to talk about," Gary said, "What's there for two grown men to talk about?"

"Gary Smith, have you ever heard of a saying, your attitude towards your parents is exactly the same as your attitude towards the world?"

"Are you trying to imply that I'm being cold and indifferent towards you?" Gary asked in return.

"You're smart," Heinz smiled, "Don't you think you're pretty cold to me?"

"You're also cold toward your father, aren't you?" Gary smiled and retorted calmly, "Your father is still relying on my mommy to keep in touch with you. Otherwise, if it was on you, you guys would have lost contact ages ago."

"Uh!" Heinz was speechless. Alright, he had to admit that his rebuttal was so good that he didn't know how to refute it.

"You're speechless now, aren't you?" Gary smiled and continued, "We're the same, so let's not point fingers at each other."

"I'm still your father no matter what," Heinz didn't want to lose face, so he tried to refute.

Gary shrugged and said, "Of course, I can't deny the fact that you contributed your sperm, but that's all. Is that something really worth feeling proud of?"

"If it wasn't because your mommy was concerned about you, I wouldn't even come up to see you," Heinz said.

"Then why don't you go down now?" Little Gary shrugged it off, "You can just tell her that you stopped by my room already."

"You brat, you're so bad- tempered, that's why Celeste decided to go to England with Ernest." Heinz felt triggered.

As soon as Heinz said that, the room became deadly quiet.

Outside the room, Alice and Grace looked at each other anxiously.

Heinz widened his eyes and looked at him. He was so angry that he didn't want to say anything.

"If there's nothing else, you can leave now," Gary pointed to the door, "I need to pack my luggage. You'll be in my way if you continue to stay here."

Be in the way?

"You brat, you're going overseas soon. Can't you leave some good impression for me at the very least?"

"We know each other well, so why should I still do that?" Gary rejected that outrightly, "If there's nothing else, go downstairs to accompany my

mommy."

"I have plenty of time to accompany her." Heinz didn't want to deal with him anymore. Since he claimed to be so powerful, he wouldn't need any advice from him.

Heinz started walking towards the door. When he was about to leave, Gary called him.

"Wait a minute."

"What is it?" Heinz immediately turned around and asked, "Is there anything else?"

"Take good care of my mommy. If we leave, she'll definitely feel lonely." Gary said seriously, "Take my mommy with you when you have any business engagements. Make sure you don't engage in any affairs or scandals as well."

"Am I that kind of person?" Although Heinz said so, he still felt a little moved due to Gary's concern for Grace.
