"What are you looking at?"

Maria followed Liam's line of sight and shrieked immediately.

Her voice drew Liam's attention back. His face turned red as he felt embarrassed and ashamed.

Maria's pretty face was scarlet as well. She didn't dare to look at Liam, but she felt rather aggrieved. Hence, she started to argue with him.

"Liam, don't you like Celeste? Why are you staring at me?"

Liam was already furious. Now that he was being questioned, his anger only increased.

He grunted, "Shut up."

"Why should I shut up?" Maria looked at him with a blush on her face and gathered her courage to shoot back, "Is what you say the law?"

"Maria Lowe," Liam roared, "You're enjoying this, aren't you?"

Perhaps he was irritated by Maria's words or perhaps he was truly angry. He reached out and grabbed Maria's waist, his palm purposely reaching towards her soft, exposed skin.

His eyes were furious, but he didn't avoid her gaze. Instead, he glared at Maria.

His gaze was so sharp that he looked as if he was about to skin Maria alive.

Maria was shocked. She had never been this close to a man, nor had she ever been treated like this.

Her cheeks were red and she couldn't move because of Liam's grip on her waist. His hands were so dangerously close that she couldn't wrap her head around the situation.

"I don't like this," Maria retorted loudly, "Let me go!"

However, Liam kept his eyes on her as his hands were filled with malice. He was humiliating her.

"You appeared in front of me and kissed me forcibly several times. Yet, you say that you don't have any intentions towards me?" His voice was low, and there was a kind of contempt in his tone. His deadly and seductive voice overflowed from his lips as he added, "Hmm?"

Liam's last word was rather pitchy, unconsciously adding a sexy and ambiguous tone to his voice.

Maria was stunned and took a deep breath. His touch made her feel a little pain.

Liam pursed his lips tightly. His heart was filled with dark clouds. He didn't want to admit that this girl had some kind of influence over him.

Unexpectedly, he couldn't control himself.

For so many years, he was afraid of being involved in scandals. He had never been in a relationship, and he also maintained a definite distance with girls.
