Celeste saw that he was serious. It did not look like he was teasing or joking with her.

She stopped talking and turned away. Gary then grabbed her by the wrist.

Celeste twisted her wrist and struggled, but Gary exerted slightly more strength.

Celeste's eyes widened. "Why are you here?"

"I was helping you look for your clothes. It's all here." Gary hurriedly got up from the bed and cleared his throat. He said awkwardly, "I realized that I forgot to bring you any clothes after you went in for a bath. I thought you would say something when you were done, but you didn't. Since you are here, and your clothes are all here, you can change. I'll leave the room."

After that, he turned around and walked out of the room instead of staying.

He was flirting with her.

He would purposely flirt with her until she couldn't take it anymore. After that, he would stop. Only then would he cause a reaction to her. By then, it would be the best time for him to act.

After returning to the study room, Gary inhaled a deep breath. It seemed that being with Celeste would really require a great amount of selfcontrol. Otherwise, he would have easily lost control.

He moved Celeste's belongings and the iPad upstairs.

As soon as he returned to the door, Gary knocked on the door politely.

After a while, she opened the door.

"I've brought them to you." Gary tried to please her.

Celeste turned around and said, "Come in."

Gary noticed that Celeste had changed her clothes, and her face was still pale. Without looking at him, she dried her hair with a hairdryer. The noise entered his heart.

Perhaps it was the noise that had helped to ease the tension between the two. Gary walked to the bed and placed the things down. He sat down and looked at Celeste quietly.

Celeste's hair was very short, so her hair dried quickly. She put down the hairdryer, and the whole room quieted down.

The two of them were still silent.

Gary's dark eyes sank. He quietly looked at Celeste and said, "Come on, sit."

Celeste's eyes were drifting, and her long eyelashes were trembling slightly. She lowered her head to cover up the shyness she felt at that moment.

Gary saw how shy she looked and how beautiful the girl who had just emerged from the water was. He reached out to hold her hand and pulled her over. Then, he suddenly let her sit on his lap.

Celeste's head was against his shoulder, and his nose was close to his face, so she could smell his masculine scent. In an instant, she shouted in a low voice, "Gary, you're doing this again. What do you want?"

Her voice was sharp and annoyed, but Gary laughed and said with a slight smile, "Celeste, I just want you. I can't resist it. But I know you don't like it, so I just want to hug you."

He would only hug her, and that would make Celeste feel uncomfortable, as he was not going to do anything to her.

Gary lowered his head and looked at her reddish ears. They were very beautiful. He kissed them, and Celeste stiffened instantly. She pushed Gary away and glared at him from a few meters away. "What are you doing? If you keep acting like this, I am going back to London."
