Although Jensen had heard that they all had girlfriends, it was quite surprising to meet Ernest's girlfriend in the police station.

In fact, not only did he meet Leah, but also he was surprised to see Ernest. Shouldn't this guy be studying abroad? Why did he come back so soon?

He did the math in his head. Heinz had said that Ernest would be back in over a week two days ago.

So, how could he have returned in two days? However, Jensen wondered if Ernest had returned just because he desired his girlfriend.

Jensen turned to Leah and smiled, "Hey there."

Leah nodded and stood up straight respectfully. She gave Jensen a sweet smile and said, "Hi there, Officer Charm. I'm Leah Winston, Ernest's girlfriend."

She introduced herself gracefully and did not address Jensen as an uncle like Ernest.

After all, she was only Ernest's girlfriend, not his wife. Hence, some sense of propriety was still needed.

Jensen immediately had a good impression of her after that.

Leah was rather cute. She was polite, reserved and classy.

Ernest became unhappy after hearing what Leah said and he frowned. "What do you mean by Officer Charm? You're not his subordinate, so just call him Uncle like I do."

Leah smiled but did not say anything in response.

The frown on Ernest's face deepened.

Jensen looked at his nephew and smiled, saying, "Kid, you're mean. She's just shy, okay? Don't frown, you look ugly."

Ernest was stunned by Jensen's words and immediately nodded. He nodded helplessly and said, "Well, she's going to have to call you that sooner or later."

"Okay, I get it. You'll only marry her," Jensen chuckled. "Look at him, Leah. This is how he shows his love for you. He won't marry anyone but you!"

Leah's face turned red.

However, she was very touched as she glanced at Ernest.

Ernest stared directly at her, and he made no effort to avoid her gaze at all. His eyes were filled

with love.

Leah trembled and she quickly lowered her head. A shy expression revealed itself on her face.

Ernest's heart started to race as he saw Leah like this, and he wanted to wrap the shy girl in his arms.

Jensen saw how much love the couple had for one another in their eyes and smiled. "Okay, let's go to my office."

Only then did Ernest and Leah suddenly come to their senses and realized that they were at the police station.

They all became serious.

Therefore, Jensen took Ernest and Leah and went straight to his office as everyone looked at them.

The police officers on the case were all stunned and they whispered among each other.

"He is the nephew of Officer Charm. Isn't he a member of The Jones family?"

"Could he be Heinz's son?"

"I think so." The officers' jaws dropped in shock.

Only then did they realize who they had offended, and they'd truly kicked the hornet's nest on this one.

After returning to the police station, they looked over the case files from yesterday and familiarized themselves with what happened between Hogan and Rowane. Hence, they changed their opinion about the case.

All of them broke into a cold sweat once they realized Ernest was Jensen's nephew. They needed to handle the case well, if not, they would all be in a lot of trouble.

Meanwhile, in Jensen's office.

As soon as he entered, he said to Leah and Ernest, "Have a seat. What would you like to drink?"

"There's no need for that, Uncle Charm. We know you're busy, so we'll leave after we tell you what's happened. We won't take up too much of your time," Ernest said.

"You little brat. You're afraid I'll delay your date with Leah, aren't you?" Jensen teased Ernest with a smile.

Leah became rather embarrassed at that.

"Thank you." Leah immediately thanked Jensen.

"You don't need to thank me. We're basically family now, so just call me if you need anything." Then, Jensen turned to Ernest and said, "Give Leah both your aunt's number and my number. After she's done with her stuff, we can have a meal together. Your aunt and I would love to meet Leah formally."

Then, Jensen looked over at Leah and said, "You have to come, Leah."

"It would be an honor." Next, Leah turned to Ernest and said, "Is there anything else I should say?"

Ernest smiled and stroked Leah's hair. "Nope. I'm Uncle Charm's favorite nephew, so there's no need to be so polite with him"

"Ernest is right." Jensen nodded.

Ernest said, "If you want to be polite, just call him uncle."

Alas, Leah was still too embarrassed to call him that.

Jensen also smiled helplessly and said, "Leah, do you see that? My nephew can't wait to marry you. He is afraid that you will run away, so he's insisting you call me uncle."

Leah lowered her gaze, and her eyes were filled with embarrassment.

Ernest continued, "Well, she's the only one for me. She's going to be your niece-in-law."

Jensen smiled again and said, "I got it. I'll go home and tell your aunt about this. She'd be overjoyed."

"That's for sure." Ernest agreed.

Jensen looked at them and found them a perfect match. Leah was beautiful and classy. Furthermore, she'd used a lot of professional legal terms when she talked about the case just now, and that tipped Jensen off that she was a law student.

Ernest had also matured into a fine young man, and he'd gotten himself a brilliant girlfriend. Hence, Jensen was relieved.

"Well, you can leave now. Go about your business. I'll make sure to ask about your case."

"Alright uncle, well be going now."

"Alright then, see you."
