After Gary got his new ID card, he glanced at Heinz and asked, "Can you handle my passport for me? If not, it'll cause problems when I leave the country to further my studies."

"I've got it, don't worry." Heinz replied.

"That's easy for you to say. After all, I'm the one who's getting their name changed. Honestly, I might get kidnapped," Gary replied.

"I thought you were very confident about your own abilities. Can't you handle such a small matter?" Heinz smiled as he teased his son. He was in a fantastic mood, and Gary wasn't actually concerned about it. He was just feeling out of sorts.

"You don't think it's a big deal, but I'm not the one harping on me every day to change my name. Well, you got what you wanted." Gary shot Heinz a cold look.

"Yep, that's right. I'm really happy now, so happy that I can't help but want to celebrate." Heinz chuckled.

"Go and celebrate yourself." Gary's gaze shifted from his father to the sky outside. He looked a little lonely as he gazed up at the distant sky.

"Why do you look so sad?" Heinz approached his son.

"What's there to be happy about?" Gary looked at his father coldly once more.

Gary was annoyed at his father's evident joy. Well, at least someone got what they wanted.

If he could make Heinz happy, he would be fine with anything.

He knew that it was just a matter of time before he changed his surname and called Heinz his 'Dad'. With everything coming to pass, it didn't make much of a difference. However, Heinz seemed to care a lot, so this was the least Gary could do.

Grace must be relieved as well.

"Things like this don't happen to me everyday. I'm really happy, son. Thank you," Heinz said in a serious tone.

Gary waved his hand flippantly and walked away. "As long as you're happy, I guess."

Gary left shortly after.

Heinz's eyes flashed with a hint of intrigue as he watched Gary walk away. Gary seemed very affected by what happened with Celeste.

It seemed Garry was unable to be happy no matter how hard he tried. This was indeed a complicated issue to deal with.

Heinz grabbed his phone and called Lester after he returned to the car.

Even though it was the middle of the night, Lester was no longer sleepy when he saw Heinz calling. "President."

"Lester, is there any news on Janice?"

"President Jones, Janice is on her way. I sent you a message three hours ago, and she must be about four hours in on her journey. We've identified the flight number, and she's expected to arrive in Northern City at five-thirty."

"Okay. Any movements from Gary?" Heinz asked.

"Master Gary seems to have found out about this as well, and they're looking into her flight. I don't think they'll have any difficulties finding the flight."

"I don't want to know what you think. I want you to be sure if Gary and his friends will find out."

"I've sent tips their way. Don't worry, everything will go as planned," Lester replied.

"Good. Either way, you have to make sure they find out about it and keep a close eye on Janice," Heinz commanded.

"Yes, Sir. I've contacted our men back home, and they'll keep an eye on Janice as soon as she lands." "Well done." Heinz quickly hung up the phone.

Meanwhile, Gary was researching something on his phone in the car.

After some time, he made another call to Yandrea.

"Are you sure that Janice is on that flight?"

Yandrea said, "I'm very sure about that as I've checked it no less than six times. Janice is on that plane, accompanied by some middle- level management from my father's company."

Gary hummed in response. He had managed to track Janice's flight down and discovered that she was indeed on this plane.

"It's been four hours since they boarded the plane. They'll arrive in Northern City at around five-thirty." Yandrea added.

This was the same as the information Gary had.

"Right, got it," Gary replied.

"Gary, I'll leave Janice to you when she reaches Northern City. Keep an eye on her and make sure she doesn't cause any trouble," Yandrea reminded Gary.

Gary answered in the affirmative as he sneered coldly. If Janice caused trouble in Northern City, it would paint him as weak and incompetent. By then, he would be ashamed to be seen with

Celeste.

He wanted Janice to know that coming back was a mistake.

He needed to make her understand that she shouldn't ever have come back to Northern City.

"You don't have to worry about these things," Gary continued, "However, you still have to watch your little brother closely."

Gary was worried that Xyrion would pull something. After all, Xyrion was completely smitten with Janice. He had lost all his rationality, essentially turning into Janice's slave.

How ironic.

"Thank you, Gary." Yandrea thanked Gary sincerely.

Gary replied in a faint voice, "Don't thank me now. I won't hurt him if he doesn't cross the line, but if he does, all bets are off. You'd better warn him. If he makes too much of a fuss, it'll be bad for all of us."

Yandrea chuckled bitterly. "If he listened to me, he wouldn't have gone to Northern City."

"That's true." Gary said, "If that's the case, we can only wait and see."

"I will inform my father immediately and ask him to keep Xyrion in check," Yandrea said.

Gary chuckled before he reminded Yandrea, "Yandrea, he might not appreciate the fact that you see him as your own brother."

There was a bitter undertone to Yandrea's ensuing laugh. "Even then, at least I'd have no regrets." "No regrets, huh..." Gary repeated Yandrea's words with a distant look in his eye.

This made Gary look at Yandrea differently. Yandrea was usually a free spirit and a jokester, but he could be a very trustworthy person as well.

Gary pulled away after hanging up the phone.

Fifteen minutes had passed since Gary glanced at his watch. When he arrived at the dessert shop, Celeste and Florina were still chatting away.

He had no idea what they were talking about, but they seemed to be deeply engaged in conversation.

Celeste seemed to be talking animatedly.

This was a rare sight, so Gary parked outside the shop and watched Celeste quietly from inside the car.

Celeste's long, flowing hair cascaded over her shoulders, and she was the picture of elegance. She was calm while she talked.

Meanwhile, Florina said something with a sad expression on her face.

Gary watched quietly as the two girls chatted. Ten minutes passed.

Celeste checked her watch as if she had realized that some time had passed. Then, she looked outside only to be surprised at the sight of Gary's car.

Gary was startled as Celeste had spotted him.

Then, he got off the car and waved at Celeste from outside the shop.

Celeste said something to Florina before taking her leave.
