Upstairs.

When Celeste entered the room, there was no one else in the bedroom. The sound of running water came from the bathroom.

She felt awkward.

It was because of what happened that evening.

She didn't know what to do, but she still went upstairs as per Grace's request.

She didn't want to refuse Grace as she knew about Grace's intentions.

Now that she was in the room, she was at a loss as to what to do.

She looked around and saw that there were no clothes on the bed.

Gary had the habit of changing outside of the bathroom, so he never brought a change of clothes in. It seemed that he had yet to choose what he was going to wear.

With that, she went to the closet and took out a set of clean clothes, putting them on the bed.

She thought that she would have to go downstairs after a little more time.

As Celeste hesitated, the bathroom door opened. She turned around and saw Gary coming out naked. He was dripping water everywhere.

The water droplets dripped from his hair to his handsome face, trickling down his neck, over his throat, and down his muscular chest. He looked like a model walking out of a magazine.

She was dumbfounded.

She even forgot to turn her head away.

As soon as he came out, he saw her turning her head to look at him after leaning against the door. It didn't seem like she was going to turn away anytime soon. She just stared at him with a frown on her face. She looked slightly shocked.

It seemed that she didn't come to see him on purpose.

At that moment, Celeste came to herself.

She immediately turned around and faced the door without saying a word.

He watched her turn around awkwardly, but she had yet to leave. Knowing her, she would have left already.

So what was going on now?

Why was she standing by the door and not leaving? He looked at her and the door with a frown on his face.

Was there something wrong outside?

He didn't even bother to put something on before walking towards her.

Celeste felt Gary approaching her. Her body went stiff, and she didn't dare to move as she sensed him behind her.

"He is here to eavesdrop on us." Gary did not take the towel. Instead, he continued speaking.

She froze and looked up at him. Could it be true that Heinz had come to eavesdrop on them?

She didn't feel like they had given themselves away, so why was Heinz suspicious of them?

Even if he was, he wouldn't eavesdrop on them. Wouldn't that be awkward?

With a towel around his waist and another on his shoulder, Gary went out of the room.

Celeste wanted to stop him, but he had opened the door.

There was no one at the door.

Because she was too afraid, she didn't dare to look in the direction of the door. Therefore, she didn't know there was no one outside.

He stood by the door, and his eyes glittered before clearing his throat to say, "Dad, what are you

doing?"

There was no answer outside the door.

Celeste didn't hear any response. Embarrassed, she wanted so badly for the ground to swallow her whole.

Gary then said, "It doesn't seem appropriate to eavesdrop on your son, does it? Show yourself, or I'll ask Celeste to come and see what you're doing."

There was still no answer, so he added, "Well. Since you don't dare to reply, I'm going back into my room. Leave us alone."

Then, he closed the door.

Inside the room, she was blushing so hard that even her neck was red.

He looked at her with a grin. It seemed like he was in a good mood.

He walked towards her and said, "My dad was eavesdropping on us at the door. I didn't expect him to do something so shameless."

Celeste didn't know what to say.

"Looks like we need to be more careful in the future and not let them see through our act. They must be suspicious already," Gary reminded her.

"What should we do now?"
