Lowell was stunned by her words, he thought that what she said was actually quite right.

He was really just a killjoy.

Perhaps that was who he was, an ominous person. Celeste and Gary had already broken up because of him.

He was walking forward at first, but his footsteps came to a halt.

Claudia walked over and said, "To be honest, I am really surprised that Kendrix would suddenly show up here today. At first, he said that he wanted to go to Northern City."

"Who knows if he really appeared so suddenly or if you two had planned it in advance?" Lowell retorted with a cold voice.

"Planned it?" Claudia sniggered, "Have you been watching too many movies? Is that why you have no faith in human nature? Do you think that Kendrix and I have ulterior motives and want to plot something against her?"

Lowell pressed his lips together tightly. Even though he did not speak, his expressions were equivalent to that of a tacit agreement.

Claudia walked over, stood in front of him and smiled as she said, "Half an hour. Let's give them another half an hour. Well go down after that, okay?"

"Why should I believe you?" Lowell asked her coldly.

"You stopped walking, and your expressions are filled with a look of hesitance too. It shows that you believe in my words." Claudia shrugged with a smile. "You don't know if it is right for you to go down."

Lowell was a little surprised. He did not expect Claudia to read the situation so clear. It was as if she could read his mind.

"I know what you are worried about. To be honest, there really isn't a need for that," Claudia said again, "I think that a man should be more decisive in doing things when it's needed, or else things would just get worse. You, for one, should be more courageous."

After that, Lowell frowned once more.

It seemed like Claudia was not as simple as she looked.

Be more courageous?

It seemed like he really lacked that.

In reality, Lowell was very clear about his strong points and his own shortcomings. What kind of a person was he? Sometimes, he was really not decisive enough.

However, a woman he had just met earlier in the morning had revealed his weakness then, it made him feel a little surprised.

He looked at Claudia deeply for a long while, and his eyes were filled with inquiry.

Claudia allowed herself to be evaluated, not avoiding his gaze at all.

After around a minute, Lowell smiled bitterly and said, "You are right. As a man, I really should be braver and more decisive."

Claudia raised her eyebrows, she was very surprised to see how down he seemed. She immediately took a step forward and gave Lowell a careful look. She asked, "Really? Did I poke on your soft spot?"

Lowell did not speak at all.

Claudia blinked and sighed. "It looks like you have been hurt by me. Actually, I didn't mean to hurt you. It just feels like you are quite a soft person."

However, Lowell still did not speak.

Claudia felt that it was a little awkward. After all, she was too direct. They did not know each other well anyway.

It was indeed a little rash and reckless to make speculations based on observation from the previous Press conference.

"Did you watch the Press conference?" Lowell suddenly asked her.

Claudia nodded and said, "I actually did."

She was able to come up with such a conclusion only after watching the Press conference. Lowell sighed deep down. It seemed that there really was something wrong with his temper.

He nodded as well, he seemed even more down.

"Hey!" Claudia was a little worried when she saw him like that. She could not help but to ask, "Back then, did you really like Janice?"

Lowell's eyes and brows instantly turned sharp, he swept a look at Claudia, and his face was devoid of any emotions.

"There is no need for you to act so coldly, "Claudia said, "I can tell that you really like that woman."

It would be better for you to cheer up faster and find a girlfriend so that you can be in a proper relationship sooner. Don't let your youth go to waste."

Lowell frowned deeply. "What kind of nonsense are you talking about?" "I am not talking nonsense, and I am not joking either. I just want to say that you will only understand how much someone who is in love would want to be alone with the ones he or she love," Claudia said.

Lowell was surprised. So, it turned out that she said so much only because she did not want them to disturb Kendrix and Sylvia.

Lowell continued to stare at her for a while. He did not intent to stay any longer. So, he turned around and left.

"Hey, you don't have to get angry just because you feel embarrassed. There's no need for you to turn around and walk away like that." Claudia followed from behind. It was obvious that he was angry.

Lowell continued to stride forward, he did not look back.

"Ah!"

Suddenly, Claudia's screams could be heard from the back, and it sounded like she fell down.

Lowell was stunned. He turned around and saw Claudia fell down on the ground. It looked like she was in great pain as she groaned.

"Ouch!"

Lowell's gaze immediately turned serious. He took a deep breath and quickly walked back towards Claudia.

He squatted down in front of her and asked in a low voice, "What happened? Did you fall down?"

"I sprained my ankle." Claudia grimaced in pain. "This is all your fault. You walked too fast. I accidentally fell down and sprained my ankle. Oh, it hurts."

Lowell was a little anxious, his eyes were filled with concern. "Can you still move? Why don't you try and see if you can move or not first?"

"I don't dare to." Claudia shook her head, "If I really have a fracture, then I will surely be doomed."

Lowell felt greatly speechless. "Try it out first. Try moving. If you really have a fracture, then you wouldn't be able to move at all."

"I can't move at all right now. I definitely have a fracture," Claudia said.
