Seeing the butler leaving so fast, Sylvia exclaimed curiously, "Huh? Why did the butler leave so fast? He'll usually ask if we have anything else to inform him. He seems to be acting weird today."

Sylvia's remark immediately caught Grace's attention.

Had the butler also seen Heinz and Grace kissing in the hall earlier? Grace wondered.

Heinz also raised his eyebrows slightly and blinked. He felt that the butler might have also seen it.

However, he kept the thought to himself and did not say it out.

He was afraid that Grace would get even angrier if he said it out loud.

Heinz shot Sylvia a warning glance, indicating that she should watch what she said.

Sylvia smiled. "I'll go upstairs and tell Sebastian to come down for dinner."

With that, Sylvia went upstairs without giving her parents a chance to say anything at all.

After watching Sylvia scurry upstairs, Grace turned to look at Heinz, her eyes flashing with anger.

"It's all your fault. Why did you kiss me here? It seems that everyone knows about it now."

"If they saw it, so be it." Heinz's low voice was full of pride and shamelessness. "We're lawfully married, and it's not a crime for us to do anything in our own home. Furthermore, we were only kissing earlier. It's not like we were doing anything else."

"You're so shameless," Grace complained again. "I'm a woman, and I still have my pride."

What irked her the most was that because she was pregnant, if others heard about what happened, it would seem as if she was the one who threw herself at him. It would seem as if she was so greedy that she could not even keep her hands off her own husband during her pregnancy.

"The reason why you're so angry is probably not because they found out that we were kissing, but because they found that we were kissing while you're pregnant, right?" Heinz asked with a smile.

Grace frowned a little. "Why do you even ask when you already know?"

"You're just overthinking." Heinz comforted his wife with a smile. "Anyone who saw it would just think that it was me who couldn't control myself. It has nothing to do with you."

Although Grace knew that he said that to comfort her, she still glared at him. "Don't comfort me. It has already happened."

"Well then, let's not dwell on it anymore." Heinz smiled and took her hand. "Just act as if nothing happened, and let's go have a delightful dinner."

"It won't help even if I think about it," Grace muttered. She knew that. However, she still felt awkward when she saw Heinz acting so nonchalantly.

She lowered her eyes, not wanting to talk to Heinz anymore.

Seeing that she was really upset, Heinz quickly comforted her. "Okay, it's all my fault. Don't take it to heart. I promise I'll never do it again."

Hearing that, Grace looked slightly happier.

Heinz breathed a sigh of relief inwardly.

Sure enough, women needed to be coaxed. Heinz thought to himself.

Meanwhile, Sylvia had quickly gone upstairs to Sebastian's room. He still had a gloomy look on his face.

Sylvia could not help but ask, "Are you serious, Sebastian? Are you still holding a grudge against me?"

"I don't want to talk to you," Sebastian replied curtly in a low voice. "Are Mom and Dad done?"

Sylvia nodded. "Sebastian, you really are wise. You kicked me out while they were still making out downstairs. I actually ruined it for them, and now I'm in hot water."

Sebastian was taken aback. He glanced and her and said, "With that character of yours, I'm sure you threw me under the bus too, right?"

Feeling guilty, Sylvia did not dare to look at him. "No way. I'm no such person," she said, chuckling uneasily.

"Your smile looks so sly. I think that you're precisely such a person."

There was no need to guess. Sebastian knew that Sylvia had betrayed him.

Sylvia was stunned for a moment and did not know what to say.

She had not gone out with Claudia.

Sylvia had already told Grace everything, no? Sylvia thought to herself, puzzled.

What did her mother mean by asking her this?

She suddenly felt that there was a hidden meaning behind her mother's words.

Upon hearing Grace's question, Sebastian stiffened. He paused for a moment, then inadvertently looked up at her.

Grace also looked at him at the same time. Her gaze was meaningful.

Sebastian frowned subconsciously.

"Mommy, what's wrong?" Sylvia immediately sensed something odd, and she looked at her parents, then at her brother. Thinking that her mother had something up her sleeve, she decided to play along.

"Claudia is a nice girl. She made quite an impression the last time I saw her. Now that she's back in Nothern City, shouldn't you invite her over for dinner?" Grace asked casually.

Sylvia's first thought was that Grace was deliberately bringing it up because she was up to something.

She turned to look at Sebastian subconsciously.

All the while, Heinz did not say a word.

Grace continued, "Miss Loris is Mr. Trevino's cousin. Since she's here in Northern City, we should show her some hospitality."

Sylvia blushed a little as she replied, "Well, I have no problem with inviting Claudia over. When do you want her to come?"

"Tomorrow sounds good," Grace replied immediately as if she was in a rush to invite Claudia over.
