Knock, knock.
Sylvia knocked on the door of Sebastian's room. At that moment, he was in the room, so he went straight to the door when he heard the knocks, and opened it.
When he saw that it was Sylvia, he frowned and narrowed his eyes, looking intimidating, "What's up?"
"Urgh!" She was startled. It was as if he was trying to scold her with his irritated tone. "Why are you so fierce to me?"
"I've been exceptionally gentle to you." He felt that he was being patient enough with her already.
He was then on the verge of going berserk.
"I see. All right, you are being very gentle to me." Sylvia went straight to the point, not having the patience to waste more time talking about anything else. "Sebastian, I am going to Claudia's housewarming party tomorrow. Dad forced me to ask you to go with me, even though I didn't want to ask you." "I won't go," he said in a deep voice.
"Okay. Then you go and tell him that you don't want to go. I think he's not back in his room yet." She turned to look in the direction of the corridor as she said that. "He's over there in the corridor. Go tell him yourself, and tell me what he said later."
After saying that, she turned and left. She wanted to return to her room and did not want to hear what Heinz and Sebastian would say.
Anyway, she had to go tomorrow.
It didn't matter if Sebastian didn't want to go.
Seeing her turning to leave, he frowned.
She was getting ruder.
Sebastian came out of his room and so happened to see his parents. He was a bit shocked as he had thought that Sylvia was only joking. Who knew that they would really be there?
"Sebastian." Heinz saw him and spoke before him, "Your sister has told you about it, I assume? Accompany her to send a flower basket and fruit basket to Claudia tomorrow."
"It's not like Claudia's in the hospital, so why the fruits and flowers?" Sebastian replied faintly, "If she wants to go, let her be. I am not going. I have things to do."
"Is there anything more important than your sister's safety?" Heinz said unhappily in a deep voice, "Are you not going to care about your sister's affairs?"
"Dad, you don't have to shout at me. If you are that worried, why don't you go with her?" Sebastian said without any hesitation, "I don't have time to do these meaningless things. I hope you can respect my decision."
Heinz frowned and stared at him for a few seconds. His handsome face was expressionless, and there seemed to be emotions hidden in his eyes, but he calmed down after that.
Sebastian even started to protest against him, which was unexpected.
It seemed like all of his children had really grown up.
Heinz nodded and said, "Well, since you said so, I will respect your decision. It's good that you don't go."
Sebastian was stunned.
Heinz stared at him and said with a smile, "Why do you seem a little disappointed now that I ask you not to go?"
"I'm not." Sebastian shook his head. "That's what I want."
"No matter what happened, I have already felt something unusual from the atmosphere they were getting along with each other," Heinz said earnestly, "Also, there is a faint spark between the two of them. It is still in the early stages, and they're like when we first met each other. Remember how we were at odds with each other but somehow still attracted to each other?"
"Since you said this, it means you've also noticed it." She looked at him and sighed, "Then why are you forcing Sebastian to go?"
"Well, maybe their sparks need an ignition. Who knows what might happen? It may end here, but at least it is better than holding it in," said Heinz.
"However, didn't we grow more attracted to each other back then as we went at it? Aren't you afraid that your son will make the same mistake again?"
"If that happens, it must be destiny. We can't do much about it if that's the case, don't you agree?"
"Does it mean you like Claudia even if she is six years older than him? Are you fine with her being our daughter-in-law?" she asked.
Heinz was stunned, and his lips curved a little. "I haven't thought too much about it. I just think it's better to confront things now than holding back."
"I don't think that we can't hold back now, but I have to say I do like Claudia."
"Even if she becomes our daughter-in-law, would you not object?" he asked his wife.
Grace nodded. "I don't mind, as long as Sebastian likes her. Plus, she is Kendrix's cousin. Our two families would be closer than ever if things worked out well, right?"
"Aren't you afraid that both of them won't succeed?"
"Since when did you become so pessimistic? Why do you keep thinking that they won't succeed?" Grace did not like Heinz throwing the wet blanket over her.
