Claudia was stunned and subconsciously turned to look at the table that Sebastian was sitting at moments earlier. She wanted to see if she was still there.

Only then did she realize that the girl had left.

The waiter was already cleaning up the table.

Did she leave?

Claudia wasn't paying attention to them when she was picking a design for her cake earlier. She did not realize that the girl had left.

However, why was Sebastian sitting opposite her then? Why was he staring at coldly?

Claudia looked into Sebastian's eyes again. It was still as cold as before.

Being stared at like that, Claudia was stunned at first and then burst into a laughter.

Her eyes were fixed on Sebastian. She wasn't in a hurry to say anything and just looked at him with a faint smile.

Sebastian frowned again. He saw calmness in Claudia's eyes.

No.

She was originally surprised, but then she gradually calmed down.

Sebastian, on the other hand, felt that he was a little too anxious.

He was clearly at a disadvantage.

He could not help but to feel a little annoyed. He also felt that he perhaps should not have approached her.

Anyway, since he was already there, he had to say something.

Claudia did not a say word and just looked at Kendrix with a smile. It was as if she was looking at a child, which made him very uncomfortable.

Originally, Sebastian thought that Claudia would go over to his table and say hello. He did not expect that Claudia would walk past his table and acted as if she did not know him at all, not saying anything to him.

That was beyond his understanding of Claudia.

Sebastian was very curious to know what was going on in Claudia's mind, so he quickly sent his classmate away and walked towards Claudia.

Right then, even as he sat in front of Claudia, it seemed like she still did not want to talk to him. She was very calm, not in a hurry to speak, and she looked like she was just looking at a child.

Sebastian frowned and finally broke the silence. "Where's Sylvia? I thought she was celebrating you moving in to your new apartment. Why did you come out alone and leave my sister in your house?"

"Sebastian." Claudia smiled and said, "Why? Are you worried about your sister?"

"Answer me." Sebastian's tone was very cold.

Claudia smiled and said, "Am I obligated to answer your question?"

"Don't try to be funny. I'm asking you a question."

For some reason, the more natural Claudia's smile got, the calmer she became. Anger rushed through Sebastian and he sounded very sarcastic.

Claudia remained calm. She looked at Sebastian's indifferent face and instead, asked calmly, "Sebastian, I've already said it. I'm not obliged to answered you question. If you're really worried about your sister, you can call her, right?"

Sebastian narrowed his bloodshot eyes. It seemed as if he had stayed up all night and did not sleep well at all. He looked gaunt and tired too.

His voice was getting even more dreary. "Claudia, don't think I don't know what you're up to."

Sebastian's breath sank when he heard that. He stared at Claudia with an increasingly sinister expression.

His chest rose and fell, looking very angry.

However, very soon, he calmed down a little and said slowly, "Claudia, are you sure you have a lot of guests in your house?"

Claudia's heart skipped a beat. As she looked at Sebastian, there was a slight guilt in her eyes.

However, Claudia immediately came back to her senses. Why should she feel guilty?

She smiled and said, "Yes, I'm sure. Do you want to see it for yourself?"

After saying that, Claudia also muttered secretly, "What if Sebastian said yes?"

If that was the case, he would find out that she left Sylvia and Kendrix alone in her apartment!

If he found out that her only guests were Sylvia and Kendrix, then she would be busted!

Claudia tried her best to make herself not look guilty, but Sebastian still noticed the slightest change in her expression.

Obviously, he could feel Claudia struggling within. It seemed that she did not really want him to go, but she just put up a tough front. Her behavior then was strange.

As Sebastian observed Claudia, he felt that it was necessary to test her.

Seeing that Sebastian was silent, Claudia immediately said, "Oh, I forgot that you once said that you did not want to go to my house. Since that's the case, then..."

However, Sebastian cut her off before she could finish her words.

He looked at Claudia and said, "All right then, I'll go over and have a look!"
