Chapter 348 novel Mr. Jones Be Gentle (Grace)
Grace was stunned for a moment and looked at Heinz with shame and annoyance. After a while, her mouth parted slightly when she understood what he had meant.
How could this man be so shameless? She thought, infuriated.
"You can't deny that," Heinz repeated confidently. He was wearing a proud expression on his face.
Grace blushed and avoided looking into his eyes.
Heinz was staring at Grace unscrupulously; his eyes plastered on her.
She bowed her head in embarrassment.
Then, he stretched out his arm to grab her, wrapping her in his embrace.
It was the first time that Grace was so close to him in her own room.
She was unexpectedly nervous, and her palms were coated with sweat in an instant. She shouted in a low voice laced with mortification and anger, "You are so shameless."
"If being shameless can make you smile, I don't mind it," said Heinz as the corners of his lips curled up in a vague smile.
In the next moment, he hugged her tightly again.
The two of them were clad closely to each other.
Grace buried her face filled with embarrassment and fury in his chest, an inexplicable feeling surging in her heart.
Heinz pressed his lips close to her ear and said, "Grace, I won't leave today, okay?"
As soon as he said that, Grace immediately frowned and said, "No, my place is too small for a young master like you."
"I'm willing to stay here," he countered straight away.
"You can't do that either," Grace still refused. "Go back to your own home."
"But I've missed you very much," he said.
Again, she insisted with resoluteness, "You really can't stay here."
"I won't be able to sleep when I go back," Heinz said. "My eyes are bloodshot because I didn't sleep last night. Now I'm sleepy, but I can't fall asleep. I'm too excited because all of this seems like a dream. I'm afraid that when I wake up, it'll be gone."
Grace was astounded to hear this and she shook her head, "Go back and have a rest."
"I don't want to," he began to pester her with all his strength.
Grace didn't like it.
"Look me in the eyes," Heinz spoke again.
Grace ignored him and refused to look up at him.
Seeing her stubbornness, Heinz grabbed her arms, moved them to her back and tightened his grip to pin them in place.
This way, Grace was forced to look up and she met
his eyes.
Indeed, they were really red and there were blood streaks in his eyes.
She frowned slightly and said, "You can sleep for a while. I'll wake you later when it's time for dinner."
With his eyes full of surprise, Heinz asked, "Are you allowing me to sleep in your bed?"
"If you don't want to, you can leave," Grace said.
"No! No!" Heinz immediately shook his head and said, "I must sleep in your bed to get rid of that man's scent!"
He could not allow the scent of another man to taint his woman's bed.
Absolutely not!
It was decided.
Grace was truly at a loss for words.
She looked at Heinz and said, "Let me go quickly."
"No," he said. Although he had loosened his grip on her arms, his strong arms were still wrapped around her. Leaning the side, they both fell down on the bed together.
"Ah—" Grace cried out in horror, but Heinz covered her mouth.
"Don't shout!" Heinz hissed in a whisper, "I won't do anything to you. Just let me hug you for a while."
Grace went out quickly.
After that, Heinz went into the bathroom.
When she came out of the bedroom, a thought flashed across Grace's mind. She pushed the door open again and asked, "Hey, Heinz, how long will it take for you to bath?"
"Ten minutes," he replied.
Grace then said, "But you don't have a set of clothes to change into."
Heinz thought for a moment before saying, "That's right. I have some spare clothes in my car, can you help me to get it?"
"You have clothes in your car?" Grace echoed with slight puzzlement.
"Yes, there's a suitcase in the car trunk," Heinz said. Suddenly, he thought of something and changed his mind, "Never mind, you don't have to go. Since Lester is on the way with Ernest, I'll just call him and have him bring it up. I think he should be here soon.
"All right," Grace said.
She went out again.
Later, Lester and Ernest arrived two minutes after Grace had left the room.
Lester had a suitcase in his hand whereas Ernest had a small schoolbag on his back.
Grace opened the door and let them in. Lester said, "Miss Smith, I have something else to do. Young Master Ernest will stay with you and I'll come back later. Also, the president's clothes are inside here. Please take them to him."
Grace nodded, "Okay, I'll give it to him. Where are you going?"
"I'll be back very soon," replied Lester with a smile before he closed the door.
Then, Grace looked at Ernest and met his eyes. The inexplicable familiarity made her heart burst with heartache again.
She squatted down and said to him, "Ernest, welcome."
With his anxious eyes, he looked at her carefully and asked, "Aunt Grace, you won't break up with my dad because of me, will you?"
Hearing this, Grace felt a painful stab in her heart. This child was too insecure.
"Aunt Grace, don't be afraid," Ernest said with his head lowered. "I won't live with my father. I have my own butler, maids, and a teacher, and they will take good care of me. If you want to be with my dad, you won't have to think about me at all. I won't be in your way. I will be very well-behaved because I really like you."
