"Did I allow you to call me Uncle? Call me Dad," Heinz said in a deep voice.

"I can't." Little Gary still brought up the same reasoning, "It is not easy for me to simply call someone 'Dad'. Moreover, I am not someone who simply does things."

"Little Gary, do you mean that I'm someone who does things simply?" Ernest said next to him. "I called our mother 'Mommy' the moment I saw her."

Little Gary's little brows were still furrowed. He looked at Ernest as he did not expect his younger brother to cause him trouble.

A troubled look appeared on Ernest's face as he looked at Little Gary and expressed his own opinion. "Gary, you have double- standards. You have high expectations for Dad but you only have low expectations for yourself."

"Shut up," Little Gary immediately stopped him.

"Haha!" Heinz suddenly laughed when he heard that. "Ernest, my good son, you are right. Gary, this is double-standard."

Little Gary pouted and felt a little annoyed.

Ernest also smiled and felt a little awkward. He looked at Little Gary awkwardly.

Heinz said again, "Ernest, it doesn't matter that your brother expects less of himself compared to me. I'm an adult now. I won't bother myself arguing with a

childish kid like him."

Childish kid?

Little Gary immediately widened his eyes and there was astonishment in them.

He was a little frustrated.

He lost this round.

His little head drooped down as he leaned back against the car seat and stopped talking.

Grace noticed that he was in such a low mood and felt bad.

However, this child needed to calm down, and she couldn't pamper him too much.

Grace said to Ernest, "Ernest, you're a good child. Come and sit next to me."

She let Ernest sit down next to her.

Little Gary raised his eyes and looked at them silently for a while. Then, he looked out of the window.

Grace took a glance at Little Gary calmly but did not say anything.

Heinz glanced at Grace with worry in his eyes.

Grace shook her head.

Heinz did not say anything as he understood that Grace did not want him to do so.

They should let Gary figure it out himself.

They all wanted Little Gary to calm down, but Little Gary had always been like this. Grace thought that it was time to let Gary learn his lesson.

"Ernest, do you want to drink some water?" Grace took care of Ernest along the way while she ignored Little Gary.

Little Gary didn't say anything the whole time.

After driving for an hour and a half, the car stopped at a rest stop. Everyone was ready to go to the toilet and stopped for a short rest.

Grace got out of the car with Ernest and asked Alex to take him to the toilet.

Little Gary stood behind and did not move.

After Heinz got out of the car, he looked at him and wanted to say something. He parted his lips, but in the end, he didn't. He turned and walked towards the washroom.

When he reached the corner, he reminded Lester, "Keep an eye on Little Gary. Follow him wherever he goes."

Lester nodded. "Yes, Sir."

Heinz went to the bathroom, where Ernest and Alex were there.

"Dad, do you also want to use the restroom?" Ernest saw Heinz in the toilet and said.

"My good son. I, of course, have to deal with nature's call too. Go out and wash your hands, okay?"

"Got it," Ernest replied with a crisp voice.

"Zachary is answering a phone call." Alice said breathlessly, "It seems to be from Southland. The phone call sounded really serious; even Zachary's face looked troubled."

Grace's heart skipped a beat. She subconsciously looked at the car in the distance.

Zachary got out of the car and looked at her from a distance. However, she couldn't notice any difference.

"Did you hear the conversation? What was the call about?" Grace asked in a low voice.

"It should be about Grandma's ashes. They may not want Grandma to enter the Lowe family's ancestral

tomb."

"What did Zachary say about it?" "Zachary was very domineering." Alice thought of Zachary's attitude just now and felt very pleased and admired him. "He was so stern that his face turned gloomy. He said that he has made up his mind and he didn't need to discuss it with anyone."

Grace was also flustered for a moment, and then she smiled with gratification. "Only being stem could solve the problem. Being a yes-man wouldn’t solve the problem."

Zachary bent down and looked at the little fellow. He took out four thick envelopes from his pocket and handed one to him. "Take it."

Ernest was surprised. He stared at Zachary with widened eyes, and then looked at Grace.

Grace was also startled for a short while.

"Zachary, what are you doing?"

"It's just some allowance." Zachary said, "It's for the children and you guys."

He handed the envelope to Ernest as he said that. Then, he stood up, gave one to Alice, and handed two to Grace, "This is yours and Gary's."

"Zachary, this is such a waste of your money." It was the first time Grace had received an allowance in a very long time.

"It's not worth mentioning." Zachary smiled faintly. "It's to get a good head start."
