Jodie smiled coldly. As she looked at Heinz, a glimmer of light flashed in her eyes. She said flatly, "I don't know what you are talking about. I can barely breathe with your hands around my neck."

Heinz felt some sort of power surging from Jodie. It was no ordinary resistance, and her movements were very quick.

In fact, she was even more powerful than Alice.

Alice had been trained to fight, so her movements were naturally very sharp. However, what Jodie had shown earlier made Heinz rather shocked and confused.

Since she had the ability to attack, why didn't she do so before to escape?

At this moment, Heinz once again felt a mysterious aura coming from Jodie.

"You understand what I'm saying." Heinz's voice rang out. "I'm warning you, Jodie, if you dare to touch Grace, I'll make you wish that you were dead."

"I've never done anything to her," she retorted. "Heinz, as I've said, it's not me. Show me your evidence if you have any."

He frowned and replied coldly, "You must know who Henry is."

She rolled her eyes again and answered in a deep voice, "I don't know who he is. I told you. I really don't know."

"Jodie, you say you don't know anything at all," Jensen spoke from behind, "Even now, do you still insist on acting coy?"

"Jensen." Jodie turned to him and hesitated for a moment, but still continued in a deep voice, "You used to be my friend. You should know what kind of person I am."

"No, no!" Jensen immediately shook his head. "Jodie, I have no idea what kind of person you are at all."

"Jensen!" Jodie angrily roared. "Why are you making up lies?"

"I'm not lying. I just think that you're very different from the Jodie that I knew. The Jodie I knew was a well- educated and reasonable person. She sacrificed her youth for people who were lacking, meanwhile you are clearly just some lady who needs men in her life." Jensen added subtly, "Now that I know part of what happened, I feel like you just can't seem to stay away from men."

Jodie's brows furrowed and she narrowed her eyes. "Jensen, my private life has nothing to do with you."

"I am a policeman and you've hurt Grace, so it’ s only logical for me to teach you a lesson." Jensen responded in a deep voice. "Plus you've broken the law, so I have all the more reason to do so. Not only that, you've hurt Heinz too. No matter how I look at it, you're in need of a lesson. Tell me, how did you train to fight so well?"

Jodie lowered her gaze. Her long eyelashes covered up the emotions in her eyes.

Heinz did not miss her expression. He looked at her sharply and remarked, "Your skills are above average so you've definitely received training before."

"So what?" Jodie returned. "Am I not allowed to learn how to fight for self-defense in such a desolate place? I was a woman living alone in Alsburg. If I didn't rely on myself, how could I survive?"

"Why did you hurt Grace?" Jensen shouted in a cold voice.

"I didn't," Jodie repeated. "I really don't know what you are talking about. I have no idea at all. I've been locked up here, so what can I know?" "Heinz." Jensen turned to him. "I think that we should start with Aaron. Show him the USB flash drive that you have."

"Jensen." Jodie suddenly screamed and stretched out her hands to him. "Look at me. My arms are covered in scars. Do you have the heart to treat me like this?"

"Alex!" Jensen completely ignored Jodie and continued giving orders. "Invite Aaron to be our guest. Perhaps we can have a good chat. He seems to know a lot."

Jodie was annoyed. Her face turned red, and then white.

"I haven't had anything to do with Aaron in a long time. It's useless for you to drag him in!"

"Alex, go," Heinz ordered in a low voice.

Alex soon went to find Aaron.

Heinz turned to Jodie with a cold gaze. He said, "Jodie, since you don't want to tell us with words, we'll use our actions instead."

After Heinz finished speaking, he made a swift and fierce move.

Heinz was terrifying, but Henry was even more terrifying than him.

She weighed the two in their heart and decided that she dared not tell the truth.

"Did Aaron participate?" Heinz questioned again.

Jodie suddenly looked up and shook her head. "What? That’s completely impossible."

A look of astonishment flashed across her face and she denied it with certainty.

Heinz gritted his teeth and said to Jensen, "Jensen, you go first. I'll make sure she tells the truth today."

Jensen knew that Heinz was protecting him.

His identity was that of a policeman and it was risky for him to be involved in this.

Jensen nodded. He took a solemn look at Heinz and said, "I'll go deal with other things first."

Jensen went out and said to Lester at the door, "Be careful. Make sure your President doesn't lose control. Remember, no deaths."

"Yes!" Lester nodded. "Officer Charm, don't worry. As long as I'm here, no one will be killed. We will only let Jodie suffer."

Jensen nodded again and then left.

Inside the room.

The calmness on Heinz's face had completely dissipated. There was no longer any disguise in his eyes and they were filled with hatred and disgust. "Let's see if you're truly afraid, Jodie."
