"I'll wait for you at the lobby of the Sakura Hotel. You'd better go there," said Lawrence.

He directly changed the subject and refused to go to the cemetery where his wife was buried.

That infuriated Heinz. He said, "You should be remorseful over what you did to my mother. That's why you don't dare to appear in front of her grave."

Lawrence paused slightly before he continued, but his tone was still unruffled. At least, Heinz couldn't sense his contrition at all.

"Heinz, the matter between your mother and I has passed for a long time, so you don't have to bring it up anymore. As for your mother, I think she would put an end to our grudges when she meets me in the afterlife later on."

Heinz snorted and said unceremoniously on the phone, "You don't dare to face it because you owe my mother."

Lawrence said in a low voice, "Yes! I have never denied it. Let's talk when we meet. If you want to condemn me, you can do it when we meet. I will wait for you at the Sakura

Hotel."

After that, he hung up the phone.

To Grace's distress, she saw Heinz was not looking well.

He was livid. He pursed his lips, and his hands were trembling slightly.

She was very concerned about him. She said, "Heinz, are you alright? If you don't want to see him, or if you haven't prepared mentally, you don't have to go, so don't force yourself. After all, we don't know what he wants to do."

"It's true that we're unaware of his intentions, but regardless, I'm going to see him. You see that he won't give up until he reaches his goal. I'm ready, so don't worry," he said.

Heinz nodded solemnly to her and turned to leave.

She was so perturbed, but she also knew that it was the only way for him to face the issue directly.

He left soon after and drove away.

Grace called Jensen at once.

After she got through to him, she said, "Jensen, Heinz's father asked him to meet up in the Sakura Hotel. He's going now. I'm worried about him, so can you go and have a look?"

Jensen immediately replied, "Okay, don't worry. I'll go now. I'll be there soon since I'm not far away."

She felt a little relieved. With Jensen at his side, Heinz could slightly restrain himself. "Alright. Remember, don't show up first. Instead, try to observe from a distance. I'm afraid that Heinz's father won't say anything in your presence."

He said, "Rest assured, I know what I'm doing."

She reminded him, "Heinz and I both think that we should not let them know that we are aware of Lowell's background."

He understood the meaning in an instant. "I get it. I will cooperate with you."

"Alright."

Hanging up the phone, she took a deep breath, and her mind was in a mess.

Heinz drove to the Sakura Hotel by himself. When he arrived, he saw Jensen, who was standing by the door of his car, outside of the hotel. Seeing Heinz's car approach, he quickly walked towards it.

Heinz got out of the car.

"Why are you here?"

Jensen said in a low voice, "Grace was worried about you, hence she asked me to look after you. I saw Uncle go in just now and he is waiting for you in the lobby now. From the looks of it, he should be living here."

Heinz's face darkened. He nodded and said, "No matter where he lives, it's none of my business. I just want to know what he intends to do."

Jensen guessed, "Maybe it's for Lowell. I think he wants you to raise Lowell, but he's afraid that you would reject it, so he's trying to get close to you."

"We haven't seen each other for so many years, yet you are still resentful of me?" Lawrence asked. Instead of getting furious, he was very collected.

Heinz said scornfully, "You are not worthy of my resentment, so don't think too highly of yourself."

Lawrence grinned and said, "Why do you have to say something so unpleasant? I haven't seen you in so many years. I miss you, son."

Heinz laughed sarcastically and said, "Well, stop beating about the bush. Tell me, what exactly do you want to do?"

"You're already married. Shouldn't I meet with your wife and children?"

Heinz said, "There's no need for that, because they don't want to see you."

"How would you know if you didn't ask?"

"Don't you know what's going on?" Heinz gave him a sardonic smile while saying that. Then, he leaned forward to fix his stare on Lawrence, saying, "What have you done all these years? How dare you want to meet them?"

Lawrence looked at Heinz in surprise. He narrowed his eyes slightly, as if he was sizing him up, trying to guess the meaning of his words.

He asked with a smile, "What have I done? Why don't you give me a hint?"

Heinz was already angry. Now, he was even angrier.

However, he just sneered and did not blow up. Unknowingly, he looked scarier when he did that.

Lawrence raised his eyebrows slightly.

"You are irresponsible, aren't you?" Heinz questioned him.

"That's true. Indeed, I have neglected my responsibilities to take good care of you all," Lawrence admitted it frankly.
