"How could you tell them that I'm with you?"

Candace was furious when she heard Timothy admitting over the phone that he was with her. She said to him with a frown, "I won't go back to that hospital anymore. They are monitoring me. I have no freedom at all."

"You are going to die. Why do you still want your freedom?" He growled furiously.

"I don't care. You owe me. I have never asked you for anything all these years. For the sake of me giving birth to your daughter, please help me. Don't let them take me away again, alright?" She was really afraid and didn't want to return to the hospital.

"Why do you think they are monitoring you? I think that they are only concerned about your health. You shouldn't be wandering around in your current physical condition. Why can't you be considerate of Heinz and Grace?"

"What do you know? You don't know anything."

"I don't understand. I have never understood you, but I have promised him that I will hand you over to them in an hour." He said, "You have to go back to the hospital."

"You don't need to do this. You are just looking fortrouble." She shouted breathlessly, "Mind your own business."

"They already know that you got into my car. Do you think they don't know about it with their capabilities?" He said coldly, "Wake up. Don't mess around like this anymore."

"Timothy Yarbrough, I've told you not to poke your nose into others' business. This is my business. You'd better leave as soon as possible."

"I didn't persist before this. I missed my daughter's birth and growing process, which is one of the biggest regrets of my life. If I don't persist this time and let you go, I'm afraid that I will regret it for a lifetime." He said firmly, "No matter what, I won't listen to you this time. I can't listen to you."

When Candace saw that she was unable to persuade him, she immediately frowned, "How can you do this to me? The beginning of my misfortune was partly caused by you. You can't do this to me. They don't treat my son well. Do you also want to be cruel to me?"

"I'm out now because I want to know what happened to my son. I'm here to investigate and save him. Grace isn't sincerely caring for the child. She is taking revenge on me, do you know that? She is a bad person."

"She imprisoned me in the hospital, pretending that she wants to treat me, but in fact, she wants to lock me up and torture me. She told me she beats my son up everyday. Do you think I can still be in a good mood? I will only be able to live for a few more days. I just want to know how my son is doing."

Timothy frowned immediately upon hearing this, "If you really want to know what happened to your son, you can lie in the hospital first. I'll help you check what happened to your son."

She stammered, "Timothy, you're still so stubborn!"

"Yes, you have to understand that I won't allow you to infuriate Grace. She is my daughter, and I want to give the best things in the world to her. Since you admit that she is my daughter, I must help her. She holds the most important position in my heart now, so I can only please my daughter, and you must please her too."

She smiled coldly, "You're really a good father."

"Thanks to you, I have a daughter now, so of course I have to be a good father," he said in a low voice.

His phone rang again.

He picked it up and frowned upon looking at it.

However, he still hung up the phone.

He didn't take the call.

Seeing this, Candace immediately sneered and said, "Your wife called, didn't she?"

He didn't say anything.

She smiled coldly and said, "Why don't you answer the phone? You are with me, but you dare not answer your wife's phone call. Is it because of guilt?"

He frowned and said, "She's indeed very gentle. She's a good wife and mother."

"Haha, that's not necessarily true. Some people may look gentle, but they're actually very sinister. I can tell from your wife's voice that she is not a real lady. You told her to go to bed but she insists on waiting for you. Gentle on the outside, but, in truth, she's very self-centered. Don't be fooled by her cover."

"Candace, what do you mean?"

"I'm telling you to be careful!"

"I don't need you to remind me. I don't need it at all. No matter how stubborn she is, she is still better than you," he naturally defended his wife.

Candace didn't say anything. She only looked at him, and her face was as calm as still water.

He felt a little awkward under her gaze. He couldn't help but raise his voice and he said, "Return to the hospital later with Grace, or I will send you to the hospital now."

"Timothy! The ring you bought for me back then was buried in this land. Find a toolbox and dig it out. I'll bring it to the hospital." She did not try to delay it any further. She just said, "I want to die wearing the ring that you gave me."

His body shook, and he was a little surprised, "Where was it buried?"

"Thirty meters to the left." Candace said, "Go and have a look. There is a platform beside the pool. Beneath it, dig half a meter and find it for me, please?"

He frowned and went back to the car. He opened the trunk and searched for the tools.

The moment when he found the toolbox and closed the trunk, the car suddenly started and left.
