Izabella went to the Windham Group early in the morning to do the onboarding process to take over the Starry Brilliance Island project, and spent the morning talking with Liam before holding a meeting in the afternoon.

Izabella hadn't been to work for almost half a year, Liam thought she wouldn't be able to adapt right away, but he didn't expect her to sort out the plan they had prepared for several months in just a few hours.

Izabella was wearing an professional outfit, with a shirt and a wrap-around half skirt accentuating her slender figure, her long hair tied back in a high ponytail, exuding both professionalism and femininity.

When everyone arrived, Izabella took her seat at the head of the table, swept her eyes over those present, and said, "Let's get started."

The meeting lasted two hours, and Izabella hadn't worked at this intensity for a long time. She had been busy from morning till 5 p.m., only managing to take a few bites of her lunch, and now she was both parched and a bit hungry.

Izabella had no choice but to end the meeting, overturning several design ideas and requesting reworks, as well as assigning people to conduct market research.

The Starry Brilliance Island project was large in scale, and in addition to the main amusement park, other attractions such as a food court needed to be created. There were many opportunities to be taken advantage of, and if done well, there was no chance of losing money.

After the meeting, Liam told Izabella, "Ms. Salotti, President Windham is waiting for you in his office."

Liam reminded her, "Of course he's waiting for you to go home. It's time to get off work, Ms. Salotti."

Izabella replied emotionlessly, "I'll work a little longer. If you have anything urgent, you can leave first."

As an assistant, how could Liam leave before his boss? Deep down, he felt like Izabella was setting him up.

It was unheard of for the Windham Group to actively visit a potential partner for cooperation. Izabella was determined to make the partnership happen and sign a legal contract as quickly as possible. Only then would she feel at ease.

After hanging up the phone, it was almost six o'clock. Izabella packed up her computer and checked her phone. There were a few messages from Brett asking her when she would get off work so they could go home together.

As Izabella walked out of the office in her high heels, she felt a sudden wave of dizziness from the relaxation after the tense work. Her body was now difficult to adapt to. It sometimes was hot, sometimes was cold, stirred with goose bumps, and she could feel the subtle pain as the fabric rubbed against her flesh.

She frowned slightly and sent a message to Brett: "I'm coming downstairs."

"I'll be waiting for you at the parking lot."

Brett parked his car in the most conspicuous spot. He leaned against the car door, smoking a cigarette, the smoke drifting away in wisps. When he saw Izabella, he instinctively pinched out the cigarette, ignoring the pain in his fingertips and threw it into the trash bin.
