The place was dead silent.

Brad was the first to snap out of it. He hadn't anticipated the raw power Izabella possessed. It was like she had broken free from some invisible chains, her eyes filled with a fierce hatred, like a demon straight out from hell.

Some people were simply born to be in front of the camera.

If there was one person who could match Izabella's performance, it'd be Mr. Dempsey.

Brad felt chills run down his spine as he watched Izabella through the camera lens. This was the first time anyone had ever made such an impact on him.

Twenty seconds had passed and everyone else was still in shock. And let's not even mention Kristin, who had just finished the scene with Izabella. She was sitting on the floor, body shaking, face pale as if she was stuck in a nightmare she couldn't wake up from.

Who the hell said Izabella was an idiot? And who said she couldn't act? He was definitely picking Izabella!

Izabella smoothed out her messy hair, braided it and threw it over her shoulder.

"Are we good, Mr. York?" she asked. She was back to her usual indifferent self, as if the woman who just cursed viciously on the floor was nothing but an illusion.

Kristin was still sitting on the floor, face contorted. Her manager finally snapped out of it and helped her up, whispering to her, "What the hell happened to you just now?"

Kristin gritted her teeth, taking a deep breath before looking up at the director with an apologetic smile, "I'm sorry, I twisted my ankle..."

Bullshit, she was clearly scared shitless by Izabella's lines.

Kristin tried to play it cool. "I've been pretty busy lately, just got back from a shoot this afternoon... I messed up my part with Izabella."

There was silence for a moment, then someone laughed and reassured her, "It's okay, you'll get it next time."

"Yeah, Kristin, don't worry about it. We all know you're not usually like this."

"We all have off days."

"Don't worry, you did great in that scene."

The last compliment was clearly a load of crap. How could her performance be good when she was overshadowed like that?

Brad, script in hand, kept his gaze on Izabella, "Do the scene again."

Izabella looked at the script handed to her. This wasn't Anna's script, but that of the supporting female character, Megan.

The producer next to him started to cough violently. They already had the perfect actress for the supporting role. What was Brad trying to do?

In fact, even the role of Anna wasn't meant for Izabella. She was only there for the audition because of Kristin. But nobody expected her to nail the scene the way she did.

Vivian also did a great job, but she was just acting. Izabella brought Anna to life. She WAS Anna.

They could give Anna's role to Izabella. After all, the character wasn't very likable. Maybe the audience's dislike for Izabella would make them empathize more with the character. If the audience wasn't happy with their choice, they could release the video of this audition online. That would shock them!

Brad handed Izabella the script for Megan, ignoring the producer's coughing fit.

"I'm ready, director."

Brad instructed, "Do the scene where Megan is taken into the palace."

This scene was even more challenging than the last one. There were no lines; the whole scene was acted out through expressions and eyes alone. Without any supporting actor, any slight mistake would be glaring.

Izabella put the script down, took out a lipstick from her bag and applied it. When she looked up after putting the lipstick away, her eyes had changed.

She moved the chair behind her to the window, then stepped back ten paces. Brad instructed the cameraman to follow her, capturing her every expression.

She moved slowly, her gaze shifting with each step she took. Halfway through, she looked back, and for a moment, a myriad of complex emotions flickered in her eyes. It was as if the images of her parents and of her cutting down enemies on the battlefield surfaced. From reminiscing to letting go, she sighed quietly, accepting her fate. As she turned around, tears shimmered in her eyes and she held her head high, stepping up to take her place as queen.

Megan was no ordinary woman, she had guts. She'd been on the battlefield, and killed people. Her eyes held not only the grace and nobility of a queen, but also the stern ferocity of a female general.

Someone opened a window, and the sunlight poured in, making her glow as she sat in the chair. The sound of birds flapping their wings came from outside.

The room was very quiet, with only the sound of the camera. Brad's breath hitched. He had indeed chosen the right person. Izabella was born to act! She was adaptable, had good memory, and in less than 10 minutes, she understood the character.

Brad was even more puzzled. With such high acting skills, how had Izabella hit rock bottom over the years?

And was the score of 25 for her first TV series real?

Brad felt like he had discovered a diamond, while the idiots around him were still patting themselves on the back, looking down on a diamond worth a fortune.
