"Do you want to build a snowman?" Xavier suddenly asked.

He remembered that Yvette liked the snow a lot. She used to enjoy building snowmen like any other child. However, he'd thought that it was childish back then.

Yvette had never expected him to suggest the idea, and her eyes lit up for a second. Then, they dimmed once more. "No. It's too cold outside. Besides, it's childish."

Xavier's heart skipped a beat.

Yvette went back into the room. "I'm going to rest now. Please get out."

She'd thought he'd insist on staying like he had the previous night. However, he unexpectedly left the room as he was told.

Yvette let out a breath of relief when she didn't need to chase him out. She instantly locked the door and used something to block it.

After she got into bed, she soon started dreaming. When she woke up the next morning, it wasn't snowing as heavily as it had last night. Rays of sunshine filtered into the room through the curtains as well.

She drew open the curtains and was prepared to wash herself up. Much to her surprise, she saw countless adorable mini snowmen on the snow.

She opened the door and walked to the balcony. Then, she saw Xavier building another snowman.

She felt complicated as she walked downstairs. She approached him in the snow and asked, "What are you doing?"

"Building snowmen," Xavier said, as though it was a normal thing for him to do. However, Yvette knew that he would've despised it in the past.

Just as she was about to say something, a black Lincoln slowly approached them from afar. She recognized the number plate—it was from Lane Mansion.

As the car stopped, the door was opened, and Mandy got out. When she saw how the yard was covered in snowmen, she was slightly stunned.

She looked around before locking her eyes on Yvette and Xavier. She was shocked to see him building a snowman. However, she was professional enough to stop staring.

Shannon had been having her meal when she read the message, and she was stunned.

She couldn't believe the son she'd always been proud of had changed so much after losing his memories. After all, he'd despised building snowmen in the past.

Meanwhile, Jeremiah and Zoey were sitting opposite Shannon. Jeremiah wiped his hands and asked, "Are Xavier and Yvette coming, Mom?"

He'd brought Zoey to their house for a meal that day because he'd wanted Shannon to invite Xavier and Yvette over. He was hoping they could help him prepare for the engagement.

Shannon returned to her senses and nodded. "Yeah. They've agreed to come, and they'll be coming in their own car."

Zoey couldn't help but ask from the side, "Madam Shannon, Yvette is Xavier's wife, right?"

When Shannon heard that, her face fell, and the mood at the table instantly became tense.
