Xavier didn't understand why Yvette was crying when he was the one who should be doing that.

He endured the pain and held her face while saying, "Yvette, I've just realized how you're crueler than me. Do you feel great about taking my sons away and forcing them to call someone else his father? Who told you to leave me while you were pregnant? Didn't I have any right to know about it at all?"

After he said that, Yvette didn't know how to answer him at all.

"I'm sorry." She looked up at him. "I can make it up to you."

"How so?" he asked.

"How much do you want?"

"Do you think you can fix this with money?" Xavier was even more furious now. Yvette didn't know what to do at all, and she just stood there silently.

The cold wind blew past them, but it didn't seem like they felt it at all.

Eventually, Noah broke the silence when he woke up. "Mom? Mister? What are you two doing out here?"

He only noticed Yvette was crying after he asked that. Then, he instantly became anxious and hurriedly approached them. "Mom, why are you crying? Mister, did you bully my mom?"

He thought Xavier had become a nice guy, and it seemed to him that it wasn't true at that moment. Then, Noah started punching Xavier's legs with his tiny fists. "How dare you bully my mom?"

Yvette wiped the tears off of her face and was prepared to stop Noah. "Noah, he didn't bully me. I just had something in my eyes—"

"You didn't allow me to see both of my kids in the past either, right?" Xavier turned around and coldly pulled her hand away.

When Yvette's hand was pulled away, she stood there in disbelief for a long time. She knew she had made a mistake.

After Xavier left the building, he didn't go back to Dewberry Manor as well. He just got into the car and started smoking nonstop. Mark thought Xavier would be ecstatic to find out that the kids were his. However, his reaction was out of Mark's expectations.
