Meanwhile, Daphne still had no idea what had happened. She could only tell that the looks people were giving her were becoming increasingly strange. 

Shannon stormed over and hurled her phone at Daphne. “Just look at what you’ve done!” 

Daphne caught the phone and looked at it. Then, she realized the cat was out of the bag. She was about to explain herself when Shannon said, “Leave before you embarrass yourself any further!”

Daphne never imagined she’d leave in such a humiliating way. She sat in the minivan, reeling from the shock. Everything clicked when she thought of what Yvette had said. It must’ve been Yvette’s doing! 

Meanwhile, Kiki saw the news as well. She and Yvette had planned this all along and chose to release it at this hour. As she watched Daphne being kicked out, she texted Yvette.

She was wondering why Zachary was here as well when she noticed that a few bodyguards had apprehended him, holding him up with one hand before bringing him over to Tristan, the heir to the Shaw family.

Tristan chuckled, exasperated. “Is that right? Weren’t you the one who deliberately spilled wine on me at the hotel that day and then threw my clothes and phone out the window?” 

Zachary shook his head. “You’ve got the wrong person, Mister. I’ve never been to any hotels.” 

Tristan had expected this little brat to not own up to it. Yet, he dared to put on such an innocent act. 

He rose to his feet, walked over to Zachary, raised his hand, and was about to spank him when someone abruptly yelled, “Hold it right there!” 

Tristan came to a halt, looked in the direction of the voice, and noticed a sweet–looking woman 

marching toward them angrily.
