Elisa did not expect Rose to make things difficult for her. Although she was unhappy, she used her gaze to hint at others to flatter Linda. She took the opportunity to take Kara out.
Other students nodded and said, "Madam Quain, I knew that Kara was pretty. It turns out she inherits your beauty. You should be even more beautiful when you were young..."
Linda listened to the praises of these girls and smiled from ear to ear. She was in high spirits and didn't have the mood to care about Kara.
After Kara was pulled out of the villa, she looked at Elisa with a confused face.
Elisa and she had been classmates for almost three years, and they basically never spoke to each other. They weren't familiar at all.
"I promised Arya that I would take you away." Elisa lowered her voice when she saw a servant watching.
"We walk to the villa's entrance. Arya will pick you up there."
Kara was surprised, but she was truly grateful. She said, "Thank you very much."
Elisa looked at Kara in surprise. She was not familiar with Kara before, so she believed Rose when Rose said something bad about Kara.
Now that she was walking beside Kara, she realized that Kara was completely different from what Rose said.
"You're not in good health, can you run?"
When Elisa thought of what she had said before, she felt awkward and did not dare to look at Kara.
"Yes, I can." Kara nodded gratefully.
Elisa saw that Kara gave a bright smile and her eyes were clear and watery. Elisa thought Kara was not an enchanting vixen, but a pure and cute girl!
When they arrived at the entrance of the villa, they saw Arya waving at them. Before Kara left, she bowed to Elisa before running towards Arya.
Seeing that Kara was about to run, the servants immediately chased after her. But Arya was faster than them. She kicked them away and left with Kara.
Seeing that Arya pulled Kara into a taxi, Elisa heaved a sigh of relief.
'It's the Quain's, Kara goes home and still needs her best friend to save her. Why?'
Elisa took out her phone and thought about Arya's plan. She dialed 911.
When the servants reported Kara's departure, the Quains finally realized that the five students had come to take Kara away.
Sophia wore a long face and she was very angry. She ordered the servants to hurry up and chase after Kara.
The five girls panicked. They wanted to leave but were stopped. Not long after, the police arrived.
The five girls cried and said that it was the Quains who kidnapped them. For a moment, there were cries, quarrels, curses in the Quain's villa.
Arya brought Kara to her home and prepared lunch for her. They chatted while eating.
Arya asked, "Sophia brought you back to the Quain's. What does she want to do?"
"They want to hold a birthday party for me, but I don't want to. I want to see my parents."
Thinking of her parents, Kara had no appetite. She wanted to fight back the tears, but when she lowered her head, tears ran down her face.
After her mother died of illness, her father thought he didn't take good care of his wife. Because of self-blame, soon after, he also suffered from an old disease. A few years later, her father passed away.
From then on, there was no one who truly loved her in this world.
She had her family, but she had to be under someone else's roof. Not only was she worried that she would not be disliked by others every day, but she also had to be on guard against the Quains.
Arya saw Kara crying and felt sad. Arya held Kara in her arms and patted her back to comfort her.
"Be good, Kara. On your birthday, I'll see your parents with you."
"Okay."
Kara was tired from crying and fell asleep in Arya's arms.
When Kara woke up, not only did her eyes hurt, but her throat was also sore. Seeing herself lying in an unfamiliar room, Kara was so scared that she jumped out of bed, opened the door, and bumped into Arya.
"What's the matter?" Arya held her.
The next day, Kara walked into the classroom with a small box of handmade biscuits.
Seeing the classmate who helped her yesterday, Kara put the biscuits on her desk and said, "I asked an elder to teach me how to make it. I hope you will like it."
Those classmates looked at Kara in surprise. They helped her because they had done something bad for her and been threatened by Arya. They didn't expect that Kara would send them biscuits.
Seeing that they didn't accept, Kara was a little embarrassed. She blushed as she explained.
"Libby's cooking is very good. I tasted it and it is delicious. I only made the shape and carved your names on the biscuits."
Her classmates were even more shocked. They didn't expect that Kara would actually carve their names on the biscuits.
"Really? I can't help but want to try it."
Elisa opened the small box and found her name. Seeing that it was Kara's handwriting, she was touched.
"It's delicious. Thank you, Kara. My name is engraved on it. I don't have the heart to eat it."
The others also found their own names and took a bite, giving the thumbs up to Kara.
"I'm glad you like it."
Seeing that they were eating happily, Kara was satisfied. She had been busy all morning, and it wasn't in vain.
"I'm afraid the biscuits are too dry, so I have prepared milk for you." Kara opened her school bag and took out five bottles of milk.
Just as Rose walked into the classroom, she smelled a fragrance. In an instant, she saw a box of biscuits on her deskmate's table. It looked pretty good.
"I got up late this morning. I haven't had breakfast yet. Elisa, what are you guys eating?" Rose rubbed her stomach and looked at Elisa with eagerness.
Usually, they would share their food with her. Rose was very hungry now and she thought she could eat their biscuits.
When Elisa heard Rose's words, she habitually wanted to share them with Rose. However, the student sitting at the front table stopped Elisa. She glanced at Rose who had been staring at the cookies in the box and sneered.
"You're not blind. Don't you see that we are eating biscuits?"
