He noticed Linda as well. "Okay." Then, he turned around and left.

After reading the message from Stephen, Linda held a glass of champagne and strolled her way through the guests.

Her eyes kept scanning the area until they landed on Hera, who was in a corner.

When she was about to go to Hera, Joyce called out to her and whispered, "Ms. Linda, all the guests are here. It's almost time as well."

Linda nodded contendedly. "Okay."

"The security guard informed me that there are police officers dressed in casual clothes outside. They've surrounded the place," Joyce reminded her worriedly.

Linda broke into a meaningful smile. "It's nothing. They work for me. Get ready. The party is going to start."

"Alright."

As Joyce walked away, Hera took a glass of champagne from a waiter and approached Linda. "Happy birthday, Ms. Linda."

The confident smile on her beautiful face seemed to shine brighter because of her black dress. That was the dress she had worn to the funeral.

Since Linda had prepared everything for this, they were able to go to the broadcast room without interference. No staff members were there to stop them, and the door wasn't locked either.

Hera opened the door. The room was spacious, containing several smaller rooms. The broadcast and surveillance systems were here.

They were standing in the corridor, and no one else was inside the broadcast room except for the equipment.

Linda followed Hera into the room and locked the door.

As soon as the door clicked shut, eight police officers showed up and surrounded Hera.

"Hera Youngworth, you've been reported for money laundering. You'll have to come with us for an investigation."

Linda seized her chance to go to the equipment, where she turned on the broadcasting and camera system. She broadcast the event live throughout the whole building.
