Hera flashed Linda a menacing grin.

Linda was at a loss for words. Hera must've gone out of her mind. She was clearly taunting Hera, but Hera actually grinned at her. Did Hera honestly think she would die that easily? Well, dream on.

An hour later, the police car transporting Linda arrived at the execution ground. She was brought out and handed over to two prison guards, who took her away to an open field.

The field was enclosed by tall iron fences, and there was a hole dug in the middle of it. Beneath the western fence, there was a row of rocks.

Linda was standing behind this particular iron fence when she saw Desmond and Percy getting off a bus. She was content with this turn of events. They were finally here to whisk her away.

Linda had cleaned a lot of messes for Desmond in the past. Now, he was finally repaying her. However, more and more people got off the bus, and all of them were Atkinses. Linda could no longer smile.

Then, she saw someone helping her father, who was in his 70s, out of the bus. All of a sudden, she had a sinking feeling in her guts.

This wasn't the prison break she had envisioned. Where were the mercenaries? Why had her old and weak relatives come here?

At that moment, more cars arrived outside the iron fences. It was Hera and her group. Hera didn't want Catherine to see the bloodshed, so she asked her to stay in the car.

Linda watched as Hera approached her, step by step. Pulling a long face, she roared at Desmond, "What are you waiting for, Desmond? Hurry up and do your thing!"

"Linda…" Desmond trailed off into silence, his complexion not looking well. He shook his head. He didn't expect that the mercenaries he hired would be taken out when they were on their way here.

On top of that, Desmond and the others were here. Not only were they not able to bust Linda out, but they had to participate in the execution as well.

Linda was so enraged by the notion that she threw up blood. Before she could put up a fight, the prison guard dragged her to the hole that had been dug and buried her halfway.

"Commence the execution!" The prison guard barked an order, and all the Atkinses picked up a stone.

Hera glued her gaze to Linda, who was buried halfway and crying out in anger. At last, she had avenged Daphne.

Just as the hurled stones were about to strike Linda, someone suddenly covered Hera, obscuring her vision.
