"What!" Chad thought he had misheard. "Didn't Tyler stop them?"

He quickly skimmed through the news report. The Presgraves' chip concept may have been presented with different wording from what Killian Corporation had proposed, but it was the same concept. This was blatant plagiarism!

When Rhett first started working with Tyler, Chad had some reservations, but Rhett assured him that everything would be fine, which was why Chad had allowed him to use their resources. Yet, despite the precautions, things had still gone wrong!

"It was Tyler who led the press conference and announced the news!" the marketing director reported.

Chad's eyes widened.

"Has he forgotten that he signed a contract with us? The agreement included confidentiality clauses!" Chad shouted. "And now he's stealing our design!"

"Well, I wouldn't exactly call it stealing." The technology director scratched his head.

He was a fan of both S and Raven and had a bit of a bias toward them. "When S and Raven submitted this design, Mr. Rhett rejected it and sent it back for revisions. But honestly, the design was pretty solid.

"Mr. Rhett just wanted it to be flawless. We didn't expect S to take the design and give it to the Presgraves."

When Rhett rejected the design for revisions, he didn't provide clear directions, which seemed he was deliberately making things difficult for them.

"But regardless of whether Mr. Rhett approved it, that design was developed for Killian Corporation. How could they use it themselves?" the marketing director argued. "By using it, Tyler violated the contract."

"The issue is that Mr. Rhett never said S couldn't use the design elsewhere," the technology director pointed out.

Typically, companies had confidentiality clauses in their contracts with developers to prevent them from selling their designs or harming the company's interests during their employment.

"Reject the resignation and do whatever it takes to keep her," Chad ordered grimly.

He then gave various tasks to his team and took charge of organizing a new chip development meeting.

By midnight, Chad returned to his office, where a pile of unapproved documents awaited him. It seemed like every problem within the company had fallen on his shoulders.

He desperately needed more hands on deck, but the person he wanted refused to return. His only option was to shift his focus back to Rhett and his son. He needed to get them back as soon as possible.
