Her answer left Giselle at a loss for words.

"Bring the first aid kit here." Bernard turned around and ordered the startled server, who thought she misheard him. It was hard to believe that Bernard could be so kind-hearted.

Giselle, who stood aside, watched the scene with clenched fists. She didn't even feel her fingernails digging into her palms.

On the other hand, Bernard realized that the feeling of being kissed wasn't too bad.

"I'm done. Don't let your wound come in contact with water." With that, he used a tissue to wipe the tears away from the corners of Dora's eyes.

The server wondered if she had imagined everything. Was he really the same aloof and decisive Bernard?
