Hera guessed the password correctly even though Bernard had changed it twice. He suspected that she had looked into him deeper than he had expected. Was her only aim to secure the partnership?

He sat on the single-seater couch. His silence meant that he had agreed for her to speak. He wanted to see how she would convince him.

Hera opened the presentation slides and skipped the introduction of the company. She started with the newest product of the company. It was a robot she developed. When she designed it, she considered the market in Agrecia. To XS Corporation, it was a valuable partnership.

While Hera was introducing the product, Bernard interrupted her, "Are you sure the robot is your creation?"

Hera raised her eyebrows. "Of course."

Bernard got up and went to his desk. He took out a stack of design drafts from the drawer and placed it on the desk.

Hera found the drafts familiar. When she went to have a closer look, she realized they were the designs she drafted when she wanted to make a robot specialized in medical aspects back then.

She thought that the design drafts were destroyed when Bernard was ill. She didn't know that they still existed, and they had been stored perfectly.

Bernard narrowed his eyes, watching Hera's reaction. When he glimpsed through Future Tech's product brochure, he found the framework of their newest robot's design familiar. He seemed to have seen it somewhere. After searching around, he found the design drafts on his shelf.

He didn't remember who drew them, but there were comments and suggestions on them that were written by him. It meant that he and another person had discussed the design drafts before.

For the past several years, Bernard had wanted to put this robot into production, but he couldn't remember the designer. As he didn't have that person's consent, he could only put it aside.

He didn't expect that he would take the drafts out again because his competitor's product was similar to the design drafts.

Upon seeing how confident Hera was even though she had plagiarized, Bernard asked coldly, "Are you going to say it's you?"

Hera was speechless. She thought, "It is me!"

At this time, Bernard's phone rang twice, signaling that he had received two messages. It averted his attention. He grabbed his phone and saw that the messages were from a number that he hadn't saved. Even so, he knew who sent it right away. He immediately opened the messages.

"The result for the paternity test is out. Please look at the photo to see the result."

The photo was of a paternity test report that was stamped by the test center. The test result showed that the probability of paternity was 99.999% It was confirmed that Bernard was Dylan's father.
